Chapter 6

Albus POV
The great hall was absolutely humongous, a herd of elephants could probably fit In here.
"Al" Rose said nudging me with her elbow.
"Yeah".
"I think that's the sorting hat up there" Rose says pointing her right index finger at the old and worn out wizards hat sitting on a stool in front of the teachers dining table.
When I look behind me to see where the hell Luna is I spot a girl flirting with James.
She's quit pretty for her age, I wouldn't date her of course because she's older then me and all but she is pretty. She has long blonde hair with the ends dyed pink and she has brown eyes ( she probably dyed her hair that colour), but I see why James likes her so much. But I can see that it's bothering Alice quit a lot as she is scoffing down food and will not staring down the girl top to bottom from all the over at the Ravenclaw table.
"Hello all students, now that you have all calmed down, we will start the sorting ceremony" Professor Mcgonagall said gesturing to the hat.
"Okay so all you have to do is I'll call out you names and you'll come sit down on the stools and I'll place this the sorting hat on your head, but first he wants to sing you a quick song".

After he finished the song Professor Mcgonagall starting flicking through names so fast, Juliet had been sorted into Gryffindor, Roxanne my cousin had been sorted into Gryffindor as well (same as Dominique and that Jordan kid) and Louis had been sorted into Ravenclaw, and Luna had been not surprisingly sorted into Slytherin.
"Rose Granger-Weasley" Professor Mcgonagall said.
As Rose sat down on the stool she started fidgeting with her fingers anxiously waiting to be sorted into a house.
"Ah, another Weasley, how many does your family need. Oh I see you've got your mothers brains and a bit of her personality, but your fathers clumsiness and foul language" the sorting hat said clearly having fun.
"Gryffindor" he said.
Rose got of the stool and joined the Gryffindor table excitedly and then turned to me and Scorpius and gave us the thumbs up.
"Danny Wood" the sorting hat said.
A boy walked up clearly nervous as he was shaking, he had brown hair and eyes, he actually looks a bit like James.
"Gryffindor".
"Scorpius Malfoy" the sorting hat said.
"Oh this is easy, wait a minute your nothing like your father, but your still a Malfoy and have the pure blood running through your veins". "Slytherin".
Scorpius got of the stool with a normal face but I k we he was annoyed.
"Albus Potter, oh your the last one on the list" Professor Mcgonagall said closing the scroll.
"Okay, oh a Potter. Well I know exactly where to put you, wait a minute, mmm. Should I put you in that house at all, it's a risk but it's worth it because you are suited perfectly for that house" the sorting hat said. "Slytherin".
