Chapter 8

Luna POV
I woke up to the sound of my owl (my black owl) tapping at my window wanting to come in from the freezing air outside.
Of course I let him in because i wouldn't want to be out in the cold night air either.
Once I open the window my owl comes fluttering in and sits on my bed. At least no one shares my dorm because not many girls got sorted into Slytherin this year and if they did they got all the really good dorms.
I open the letter from my owl ( who doesn't have a name because i can't think of one) and start reading the very long letter.
Once I finish reading the letter I get out of bed and grab my bath robe and start heading out of the Slytherin common room.

Once I reached the girls bathroom i take of my robe and set it aside on one of the sinks.
"Oh, hello there." A female ghost said coming towards me, she looked a bit older then me with two pig tales and glasses. "I've never seen you in my bathrooms before".
"Oh,ummm. I was told to come here by my friend, he wrote me a letter and told me that you could give me some advice on how to not die or seriously injure myself at Hogwarts, because he worries about my safety and he thought you should know all about hurting yourself at Hogwarts because I mean like look at you, your a ghost".
"Of course, I'll give you some advice, but that is still really offending"
"Ok thanks".

Scorpius POV
"Rose where are we going" I say in the quietest voice I can muster.
"Remember I told you the old potions classroom".
"Oh right, sorry I forgot".
"As always" Rose said with a smirk trying to unlock the classroom door.
"What do you mean by that" I say leaning against the wall.
"Nothing,nothing at all" she said smiling.

Once we were in the classroom Rose quickly locked the door behind her so know one could come in (especially teachers).
"How do you already know your way around the school" I said sitting on a table in the middle row.
"Because I'm smart" she said sitting next to me. " So Anyways" she said clapping her hands together. "We need to find out more about Luna, because I've heard some rumours that the people that raised her aren't really people but they are ghosts".
"That's awesome, but why didn't she tell us that her parents were dead and they were ghosts".
"Because they probably aren't even her parents, I personally think they are her friends" Rose said.
"Why can't Al be apart of this" I say.
"Because he will be annoyed at us and most likely won't believe anything I'm saying"Rose said grabbing stuff out of all types of drawers.
"What are you doing" I asked looking at some of the jars that she had set on the table.
"I'm going to grab some practice potions for classes, oh wait I forgot to ask you, what do you think of Luna"Rose said placing all her jars on the table and sorting them into groups.
"She's okay I guess, but she's not my type of girl, I'm into a girl who...".
"Did you hear that" Rose aid interrupting me. "You know what you were just saying, hold that thought and tell me after we get out of here".
"Okay, well we better go then" I said helping Rose quickly stuff her jars of potion ingredients into her purse that looked like it was never ending.
"Scorp, we've got to get out of here now, that noise, I don't know what it is,but it doesn't sound friendly" Rose said just before another growl and thump came from about a metre from the classroom.
"It sounds to me like an ogre" I said as we speed walked towards the door.
When we reached the door Rose peeked her head out of the door and squealed, I grabbed her by the arm and pulled her in front of me and covered her mouth so she wouldn't squeal any more.
"Rose when I say run, you run as fast as you can outside of the castle and towards the black lake, do you understand me" i said looking just a bit outside the cracked open door.
"Mmmm" Rose said nodding her head in agreement.
"And don't worry I'll be right behind you"i said.
I moved to sit up but I was pulled down by Rose as she whispered into my ear 'if you get us out of here alive, I'll by you pumpkin patties for a whole month "She said as she nudged me up so I could peer out of the door.
"Deal" I said smiling at her, now I know I really need to survive. "Three...Two...One I said grabbing onto Rose's hand. "RUN!!!!".

This chapter was a really hard one to write because I had my friend moonmeifwa texting and telling me everyday at school and on Wattpad to update my story because she loves it so much.
So this chapter is dedicated to you (your really putting me under some pressure here Luna, joking)
