People know what they have but do they know what they lack
Do they know how foolish they are?
For wisdom comes not from old age
Or even experience
For true wisdom is much more than life
It is a closed door, waiting to be opened
The key many seek is not in others
Nor in your surroundings
A key to wisdom is and always will be within yourself
For we are all born fools, with the capacity to know true wisdom
But only a select few will learn the true power of wisdom
Behind a closed door is wisdom, to choose to open that door
You elect to open your mind up to new profound understanding
We must all choose our paths in life
So will you choose the path of wisdom?
Or path of foolishness?
