What's up with Mettaton?

All monsters has been freed by Frisk (And Asriel & Chara too, but noone knows, like in the game) and they're living life on the surface. Its been 7 years now, since they got their freedom. Its been 7 years ago that Papyrus and Mettaton has met. Mettaton was making a brand new tv-show about him and his life underground, and he read his fans mails in the show. He found Papyrus' mail, and because Papyrus is so naive, he send him his new adress and asked him to come over. At first, Mettaton wasn't sure if he wanted to do it, but then decided it would be fun. Mettaton and Papyrus met and had dinner together (They had spaggethi, but with Mettaton's special made ingredients) and they had a good time! A year later, they both fell in love with each other after spending so much time with each other. They finally confessed their true feelings and started a relationship. Sans loves his brother, but hates Mettaton. He wished they weren't together, but its not really his choice. They've now been together for 6 years. They truly love each other.

Sans and Papyrus are sitting in the living room together, watching a movie. Its not a romantic movie or anything, but there is two characters who's in a relationship and lives in the same house. Papyrus notices this.

''Hey Sans, those two are living in the same house, but they're not married?''

''You can live together, even if you're not married. You dont even need to be related at all. You can move into a house with a good friend if you want''

''Wowie! What if i did that with Mettaton?''

''With... Mettaton...?''

''Yes! Him and i are a couple! We could have a beautiful home! Dont you think?''

''Hm...''

''Brother, aren't you saying anything because its Mettaton? Or because you're scared of losing me? Or both?''

''...I'll go clean my room''

''Sans, you never clean your room. You cant lie to me that easily. Seriously, just say it. I know you dont like him''

''Its both, Papyrus... I've been living with you since the moment we came into this world... Or, when you came...? I dont know, but living without you would be weird for me. But, its your choice, so i'll just accept it''

''Even if its Mettaton?''

''...''

''Just tell me. I know you dont like him, so-''

''I dont like you being together with him...''

''...You still dont like that? I thought you would start accepting that fact long ago! I thought you just didn't like him''

''This is why i needed an excuse to go away. I dont like talking about this with you''

''Come on, Sans! We have to talk about these things, so that we can do something about it!''

''Would you break up with him for me...?''

''No, of course not, but-''

''See, thats why''

''Dont you want me to be happy? Im happy with Mettaton!''

''...''

''He makes me more happy than you do, Brother''

''...Yeah. Of course he does... Goodnight, Paps''

Sans goes into his room.

''Of course he's going to bed this early... *sigh* Why cant you just accept it, Sans...?''

Someone knocks on the door. Papyrus stands up and walk over to open the door. Its Mettaton.

''Oh, hi Mettaton! Im so glad to see you!''

''Glad to see you too, the great Papyrus~''

''Nyehehe! Have you gotten any dinner yet? I can give you something!''

''No, im okay. I just want to discuss something with you''

''Oh... Is it very serious?''

''No, its just that someone has invited me to go on Tour to make tv-shows and peform concerts around the world!''

They sit down on the couch.

''Wowie!! How exciting!! Im so happy for you!''

''Well, i haven't said anything to them yet. I just want to talk with you first''

''Why wouldn't you go? Its a fantastic adventure!''

''Well, i would have to be away for a very long time. A year, maybe. I just know how much you like spending time with me, and maybe this would be a bad idea if you wanted to be with me''

''Cant i go with you?''

''They said i should only bring myself, so i cant...''

''Oh... Well, what do you think would happen if you didn't go? Would you regret it?''

''I dont know, i just... I dont know''

''We can just call each other every day! The great Papyrus will keep you in company, no matter where you are!''

''Hehe, i can always count on you, Pappy. You're right, i would regret doing this if i didn't do it. I'll call them and say yes tomorrow''

''Thats great! Im so happy for you!''

Papyrus hugs Mettaton while sitting down. Mettaton hugs back and kisses his forhead.

''The Tour will start in a month, so we have a month to be together and have fun~''

Sans heard everything they said from his room. He cant wait for Mettaton to be away for a whole year, but Papyrus would get lonely and miss him...

''Hey, Mettaton! I just got this idea... What if we were living in the same house, together? Wouldn't it be lovely to have a whole house for ourselves? A beautiful home, just you and me!''

''That would be great, Paps! But that will have to be after the Tour, okay sweetie?''

''Of course! I just thought that it would be a good idea to share this idea!''

''Hehe~''

Sans is still listening. He's thinking ''Now they're moving together for sure... Why?...''

Suddenly, Mettaton gets a phone call.

''Oh, uh...''

''Just take your phone, then i'll put a movie on!''

''Uhm, wait a sec, Paps...''

Mettaton stands up and goes into another room to talk with whoever is on the phone.

''Hm... I'll put a movie on anyway! Its just his manager, probably''

When Papyrus started the movie, Mettaton comes in.

''Ready to watch a movie?''

''Uhm, i have to go now, Paps...''

''W-what? Already? Why?''

''I... Im so sorry, Pappy, but i cant actually tell you. It might have to do something with our shows, or... I dont know. I have to go now. Im really, really sorry, Paps''

''Oh... Thats okay! You'll figure it out! I believe in you!''

He hugs Mettaton and opens the door for him.

''See you soon''

''See you, Mettaton!''

Papyrus closes the door, and then sighs.

''Its nothing, Papyrus. Its nothing''

He smiles and then watches the movie alone.

Sans, still listening, thinks to himself ''Mettaton was acting weird... He's cheating on Papyrus? Hm... Maybe this is it''

Now Sans is actually tired and goes to bed for real.
