AUBREY’S POV
“OH MY GOD ADDIE GUESS WHAT?”
I screamed on the top of my lungs. “Why, you called me at 5 in the freaking morning?!” she said groggily. I guess I didn’t check the time before I called. I mean I have been up all night to get these tickets. “I JUST WON FREE 5 SAUCE TICKETS!” Still screaming. “WHAT, HOW, IM AWAKE NOW! Dr. Seuss over here!” she said fully awake now. “I called into a radio AND I WON 2 FREE TICKETS WITH BACKSTAGE PASSES.” “WAIT SO YOU’RE TAKING ME RIGHT?!” she said. “No I’m thinking about taking my turtle, you know. Jeffery?” my voice full of sarcasm, it runs in the family. “Are you serious.” She said flatly. “OF COURSE I’M NOT SERIOUS I’M TAKING YOU!!” We squealed.
“IM COMING OVER NOW” she yelled. “But it’s 5 o’clock in the—“ I got cut off by her hanging up the call. Not even going to bother getting dressed cause I don’t have to impress anyone. Why do it?
Next thing I knew, the doorbell was ringing repeatedly. Good thing I live alone! “Hold on! I’m coming!” I was practically running to the door. I opened the door to a very anxious Addison Miller. “SO WHERE ARE THE TICKETS” she just ran right past me into my bedroom and jumped on my bed looking at the computer screen. “AND BACKSTAGE PASSES?” she yelled in my face. “Quiet down! I’m right here! Yes I have backstage passes; we can even hang out with them if we wanted to. Maybe get their numbers if we wanted.” I explained. Her getting more excited by the minute. “When is the concert?” she asked a little bit more calmer than earlier. “In two days from now. So Friday.” I squinted at the computer screen. “WE HAVE TO GET DRESSES AND STUFF! MORE MAKEUP actually no, no more makeup cause men don’t like girls who wear a lot of makeup.” She said to herself, I just chuckled.
