"Easy for you to say mom,you're not the one going to a new school,with a bunch of people you don't know and new faces"
She sighed "Tommy listen,I know this move has been hard but you'll get used to it...and once you get to know the area a little better and get adjusted to you're new school,you'll meet new people and make new friends and-"
"Yeah yeah whatever,listen my bus is going to be here soon, so I gotta get going"
"Ok,well I guess I'll see you after you get off school"
I hesitantly grab my book bag and head out the door.
"Bye Mom"
"Bye sweetie"
I head outside slamming the door behind me,racing to my bus stop whilst reaching into my book bag and grabbing out the piece of paper that has my bus information.
"Bus 14"
Finally,reaching my bus stop I notice three teens about my age mabey a little bit older.
Two of them were messing around and playing in the middle of the road,while the other one just stood next to the stop sign.
Watching them,one noticed me. It was the one standing next to the stop sign.
I could tell it was a girl,she had short pink hair,dressed in a pink hoodie and black leggings.
She looks kinda friendly,walking up to her slowly I stopped about 5 ft from her.
"Uh,hi"
"Hi"she said with a smirk."So,you must be the new neighbor".
"Oh uh,yeah I am"
"Cool,finally nice to meet you the whole neighborhoods been talking about you" she paused for a moment "so what's your name?"
"It-It's Tommy"

"Hey tommy,my name's Claire"
"Hi"
"So-" just as she went to say something,we could see bright lights heading t'ward us.
Claire turning her gaze to me "that's my bus"
"Is that bus 14?"
"Yeah are-"yet again she was interrupted,this time by the two who were playing in the road.
They rammed passed us just as the bus was pulling up.
"HEY!watch it!"Claire said angrily.
The bus had finally stopped,the door opened and we had all filed in. Looking around I could see a couple of kids already on the bus.
The bus driver turned to me "are you supposed to be on my bus?"
"Uh y-yes actually, here" I handed her my bus papers.
"Alright"she turned and faced the road.
Looking back again
I noticed the two teens went to the back of the bus,while Claire sat in the front.
"Hey,you should sit with me"Claire said scooting over and patting the open spot next to her.
Just as I went to sit down, the bus driver took off and I fell on the walk way.
"Oof"
Getting up,I quickly sat down in the seat and tried to play it off as if nothing happened.
Looking at Claire,she had put her earbuds in and stared out the window. ______________________________________
After some time,the bus driver finally picked everyone up and dropped us all off at school.
Everyone got off the bus and headed into a crowd of people trying to get into the school. Through the crowd of people I had lost Claire.
