Separated

Prologue

 Gonda Italy, 3056

 Have you ever wanted to travel through time? Even though you could die. Ever since I was 7 I've always wanted to travel through time, or even be the first girl on Mars......

 All of my dreams became a reality on December 6. Finally my dreams were finally happening. Am I even ready?

 I cant go back now, of course I do have someone I barely know by my side.....his name was Aaron. On the morning of December 6 I met him. Snow covered Italy. I wore a big coat and a red scarf. I had a skin tone hat and black boots. it wasn't as cold as you think it was the perfect temperature. Kids roamed Italy (No Pun Intended XD) throwing snowballs and making snow angels.

All of a sudden a tall blonde haired man passed me. he brushed up again'st my coat. I could feel his warmth pass through my heavy jacket. Who was he? I ran towards him trying not to slip on the icy walkways. I finally caught up to him, but then before I got to tug on his coat a child through a snowball at me. I wasn't ready for a snowball fight so I just ran toward the man.

When I got to him I tugged on his coat.

"Hey! Whats with the tug?" He said turning around.

His face was rosy red. His hair was all messed up, and his arms where crossed. he didn't seem like he was mad at all.

"Oh,you walked passed me and for some reason I felt like I was supposed to meet you....I just want to know who are yo-" Before I could finish the sentence a strike of lightning hit the ground like a band concert rocking the earth.

Something glowed as it fell to the ground, leaving a hole in the stone.

"What the hell?" The tall blonde haired man said.

I ran up to the object, he ran to. I picked the object up. it was a jewel of some sort. It was the color of red....A deep dark red.

"I feel like I've seen that shape before. It looks like it goes to one of the statues in the Gardens." The Blonde haired man said.

"Before we go....Whats your name?" I asked him while we were walking to the gardens.

"I'm Aaron, You?" He asked.

"I'm Adriana." I replied with a smile on my face.

Even though I barely knew him. He seemed nice. So far he isn't mad at me for stopping him in his tracks. I hope this journey goes well. He seems like he would make a good friend.

As we walked to the Gardens we haven't spoken a word to each other. He just walked in silence. When we reached the gate of the Gardens barely anyone was there. Normally on a day like this, everyone is here. The snow glowed up again'st the statues and flower beds. It was the perfect scenery.

We found the statue that had a missing piece to it. The workers here in the Gardens dont clean the statues so there is vines and moss all over, but they still keep everything tidy. Aaron took the jewel out of my hands and placed it up again'st the spot were it used to be.

All of a sudden the statue glowed and an oval shape covered the scenery. I looked at Aaron, in panic I grabbed his hand. He starts blushing and stares at the strange light. We walked through my hand holding his. Where was I going? Am I dyeing ? Am I Dreaming? I wasn't In Italy Anymore.      Hello Readers! I hope you liked the first part of the story, it was really long but this is just the beginning. All the chapters would be around 500-600 words but its a good amount to read! If you enjoy this story please stay tuned! This story all happened when I had a dream of it a few nights ago. Its been on my mind ever since! After I read the book A Wrinkle In Time by: Madeleine L'Engle, I absolutely fell in love with the characters and the settings. I've always wanted to travel in time.
