Waking up to the sound of your alarm is never a fun thing. But, life has to go on.
"Urgh, I hate life." I muttered before getting off my comfortable bed.
I shivered when my feet touched the cold hard ground, but continued to force myself to walk over to the bathroom and start washing up.
Once I was done, I changed into the clothes that I picked out the previous night, a pair of denim jeans and a plain black hoodie. Then I headed over to the kitchen to have my breakfast.
Once I've finished, I quickly cleared my remains and checked the time. 6.30am was what my phone showed.
I grab my school bag after I tied my hair up and quickly put on my sneakers before picking up my skateboard to leave the apartment. Making sure that I locked it, I then headed down the staircase and walked out of the apartment building before putting on my earphones and blasting my music.
In my hands were what I call - a pennyboard, which was basically a skateboard but smaller in size. It fitted my body size well, considering the fact that I was only 5foot 1.
Getting on it, I started to skate down to school. My hair that was tied up, decided to shine under the sun as I skated across the street. Gradually showing off its actual dark brown colour as it flew when I moved against the wind.
This moment was rare as opposed to its usual disguise whereby it fools others to think that it was black instead. But it was a beautiful moment where I would feel that this was similar to me, having a disguise on only to shine through during rare moments.
My naturally straight hair that usually flows down my back, long enough to reach past my shoulders, was tied up in a ponytail. And its colour complements my chocolate brown eyes that were often facing the floor.
As the sun continued shining, it made me have this thought. That I wasn't tan at all and most likely will never be, as I don't go out under the sun much. But considering how much the sun is shining in this town, that may change if I were to take this route to school everyday.
Normally it takes about an hour to walk from my house to the school. But since I'm going to school with a skateboard today, it only takes about half that time.

Its been a week since I came to school. But yet here I am, standing at the front gate at 7.30am, hugging my skateboard tightly, breathing in and out to calm myself down from a panic attack.
Who knew that, one moment was all it took to change my entire life, because it was at that moment when I met him.
It was probably only a short moment but it felt like an eternity. I was just standing there, panicking about school. And when I looked up, I caught his eyes staring right through me, like it was just natural to do so.
And we just looked, just for that moment without ever once breaking it. I didn't even realise that I wasn't freaking out anymore.
He was just standing there, leaning against his car. His bulging arms were folded against him across his chest. His midnight-black hair was full but short and it looked like his hands had gone through it several times.
His eyes were blue, slightly on the darker side, with a jawline so sharp it could cut through butter. Wearing only a white plain t-shirt with a black leather jacket and a pair of black jeans.
And he was surrounded by his friends. All were talking to each other yet none of them realised that we will just there, not talking not listening and yet staring at each other like we were the only ones in the world.
