Rose died that night. The night after I apologized to her for asking her to be my girlfriend and the night when she cried in my arms telling me she regrets saying no to me. That was the last night I was able to talk to her. The girl who I spent all night thinking about. The girl who I stayed up all night with just to gaze at the stars. The girl who made me feel complete, was gone.
It has been months, and now as I sit next to Rose's gravestone where the bright rays of the sun burn through the ground she is buried in, I can't help but cry to my heart's content. Before I leave the grave, I leave a rose on the burial site of Rose, in hopes that it will never wilt in the sunlight. I have left Rose's garden.
