"palidens!! Zarkon is coming we need voltron NOW!" Allura's voice blaring through the speakers. Shiro, pidge, hunk, Keith and Lance run to there lions to defend the castle and the nearby plants. After a while Zarkon's ship was the only one that left. Keith and Lance were ordered to check on the planet. While the other three were still fending off the other ships. The red and blue Paliden check to make sure their ok.

"Is every one ok?" They question.

"Were fine. Thank you Palidens." Says the leader.

Then there was a scream. Someone was being chased by some galra. She was running and tearfide. Lance and Keith shared fighting to keep them safe. Lance only being good at long range attacks didn't notice a grala behind him. And Keith was busy with the last one I front of him. Before he or the civilians could warn him he was attacked. He screamed in pain and agony. He turned around and was hit again. And again. And again. It took Keith a while to collect his thoughts. Even tho Lance was annoying they were still teammates. They were still friends. He ran twords the galra that attacked Lance before another hit can be thrown. When he finally defeated his enmy. He rushed next to Lance and check his palus. It was fading slowly. His voice rang through the speakers in the castle and to the other Palidens as Keith lest them know what happend.

"Lance is down. Severely injured. He may need to- scratch that he NEEDS TO go to a healing pod." He says. Everyone is getting worried and Shiro orders him to get Lance to one. Then they will get lances lion when they were done. Keith picks Lance up Bridal Style and takes him to the red lion. Lance is trying to talk to keith.

"K- kei- keith." He tries to say his name.

"Shhhhhh. Lance don't talk you'll make it worse."

"N- no I hav- have something to say. If I don't make i-"

"You will make it lance." Keith says completely cutting him off. Then Lance continues.

"I want you to k- know that i- i..... fell in l- love with you." Lance finally did it. He confessed his love for keith. And everyone heard it. But because of the situation they said nothing and keith. He said nothing but was blushing ever so lightly. But it was still there. When keith reached the castle the other ships retreated and they all came back after picking up the blue lion. Keith already had Lance in a pod and just stared at him. With a sad expression. Everyone gave him a quick hug before leaving him with lance.

It had been two days and lance was still in the pod. And keith was laying his head on the pod lance was in. He wanted to be the first to see lance. He wanted to make sure that confession was not a dream. Because in truth. Keith also loved lance. That's why he was always fighting with him. He wanted to keep those feelings locked inside. But when lance said he loved keith he got butterflies in his stomach. He turned to the glass part a looked at him placing his hand bonus the glass looking down and from someone's eals point of view it looked like he was crying.

"Please, lance be ok. I..... I lov-" he was about to finish his sentence when it suddenly opened. Lance flutter his eyes opened to see keith with tear stains on his cheeks.

"Keith are you o-" he was cut of by Keith hugging him and finished his sentence that he was going to tell the sleeping lance.

"I love you too." Lance looked at him full of hope. Full of life.

"Really?" He questions.

"Yah. Really." keith says as he takes lances hand and leans in to kiss him. After on long first kiss lance kisses back and with each new kiss it was more passionate then the last. After a few more minutes lance ask keith.

"Soooooo. Where do you want to go on our first date?" All keith can do is chuckle.
