Toddler series

First day of school

Liam- it was Paisley's first day of big school, she was so unbelievably excited. But you and Liam weren't as excited. Even though you had Jaeden, Paisley was your baby and you want her to stay your baby forever, you and Liam had her enrolled in a small school so she had the cutest little uniform which consisted of a navy blue check skirt and a long sleeved white top, you had just gotten her up for breakfast and she was cuddled up in Liam's arms as you got her some cereal, "you excited for your first day" you asked her as you placed her cereal down in front of her "yes" she said as she took a spoonful of cocoa puffs into her mouth "look who else is awake!" Liam said walking into the kitchen with Jaeden in his arms, a pacifier in his mouth and his head resting on Liam's shoulder "good morning my boy" you said stroking his back softly "mummy I finished" Paisley said softly "ok baby. Why don't you and me go upstairs and get you ready and daddy can pack your lunch" you said placing her bowl in the sink, she nodded and Liam helped her off the seat, you kissed Jaeden on the head and hoisted Paisley onto your hip "your getting to big for mummy to pick you up now" you said as you walked upstairs, she shook her head "nah mummy" as cuddled into you making you smile. Once you got her in the shower and all washed up, you got her into her uniform and tucked her shirt in before going into the bathroom and brushing her teeth, you grabbed her socks and shoes, a hairbrush and some hair ties and hairspray before taking her book bag and going downstairs with her "Paisley guess who's here" Liam said smiling brightly. Paisley looked up from concentrating on her steps down the stairs to see Karen "nana!!" She squealed and ran into her arms "hi precious" I smiled and placed all of her stuff of the bench "poppy would have loved to be here peach, but he had to go to work early. But he said he'll drop over this afternoon to see how your day was" Karen said smiling "nana" Jaeden said smiling as he got placed in her arms. "Come on Pais lets get your shoes and socks on" you said lifting her onto the stool you pulled on her sock before her shoe and doing the buckle up before doing the same with her other foot. You stood behind her brushing her hair whilst she played a game on your phone "Paisley, do you want apples or oranges?" Liam asked her and she tapped her chin "oranges please daddy" she said smiling "oranges it is" Karen was currently playing with Jaeden whilst you put Paisley's hair in braids with navy bows down the bottom. "There you go princess all ready for school" you said kissing her cheek "thank you mummy" she said "you're welcome Bub" you smiled as Liam placed a couple of cookies in her lunchbox before zipping it up and slipping it into her backpack "lets get your blazer on before we get a photo" you said before helping her off the stool, you slipped her blazer on her and smiled "Karen do you mind getting a photo of us all" you asked "of course dear" she said taking your phone. You then realised that you and Liam were both in your pyjamas. But you don't really care. You were wearing plaid pyjama pants with cuffed ankle and a white singlet and Liam was in a plaid pyjama pants and shirtless. You and Liam crouched down beside Paisley and smiling brightly "thank you Karen" you said standing up "Paisley stay there baby, I wanna get a photo of you" you said and Paisley smiled, after a couple of photos Liam lifted her up onto his hip and you took a bunch of photos, your favourite one was definitely when they were kissing it was so cute. "Ok. Lets get you to school baby" you said, you and Liam quickly got changed before you went back downstairs and outside to the car. You strapped Jaeden in and buckled Paisley up before sliding into the passenger seat. Once you arrived at the school you set Paisley on the ground before she smiled up at you before latching onto your jean clad legs "what's wrong baby. Don't you want to go now" you said crouching down "I'm gonna miss you mama" she said smiling softly. "I'll miss you too baby. How about you daddy and I walked you to your class and we can meet your teacher together?" You asked and she nodded. You stood up and took her hand as Liam picked up Jaeden and we all walked into the school and to her classroom. The room was decorated with caterpillars and butterflies a little corner filled with pillows and beanbags and a bookshelf "hello, I'm mrs Taylor, I will be the kindy teacher for this year. What's your name" the lady said crouching in front of Paisley. She was only in her late 20s early 30s her blonde hair was pulled into a pony tail and she was dressed in a pair of skinny jeans and a white button up top with a pair of vans "why don't you tell her your name peach" Liam said placing his hand on the back of Paisley's head "my names Paisley" she whispered softly "that's a very pretty name, well welcome Paisley" she said and Paisley smiled "why don't we go out your bag on the rack over here" she said offering her hand out for Paisley to take. Paisley took it with caution before they walked over to the bag rack "you better not grow up that quickly my boy" you said leaning over and kissing Jaeden's cheek "I'm yn Payne. This is husband Liam Payne" you said as the teacher came back "of course. My daughter Keaira loves One direction" she said smiling "Paisley honey, mummy and daddy are going now. We will come pick you up at 3 ok?" You said hugging Paisley she wrapped her tiny arms around your neck and kissed your cheek "love you Mumma" she said smiling. You kissed her head before taking Jaeden and Liam picked her up "have a good day monkey, I'll see you later ok? You make lots and lots of friends and have fun. Love you so much baby" he said kissing her cheek "love you daddy" he placed her down "come on Paisley let's go meet some other kids" you smiled as Paisley walked over to a group of girls sitting at a table colouring, "come on love. Let's get home" Liam said kissing your temple before adjusting Jaeden on his hip.
