The seemingly never-ending Wednesday dragged on slowly as I desperately tried to grab my assistant Jeanie's attention.

"Min Jee!" I whined, resorting to using the full name of my best friend. I stomped my feet on the tiled floor, ending with a frustrated hop. She, completing ignoring my existence,  had an outburst of giggles as her fingers typed away at the keyboard. Without any eye contact with anything else other than her phone, she simply hummed a vague response, eyes still glued to the phone.

I left the comfort of my desktop table and walked closer to the patient's bed, where Jeanie sat. Just as all the times she had done to me when my thoughts were elsewhere, I flicked her forehead.

Hard.

Her phone, almost in slow motion, released from her hands, gracefully falling on to the edge of the bed. The screen was now black, but at least it wasn't... at least I hope... broken?

The 'injured' place on her forehead now took shelter with her hands as she whined in agony.

I rolled my eyes at her dramatic performance. "Who're you texting?" I questioned, in the most annoyed tone I could summon. She cleared her throat. "No one."

"No one," I mocked, in a tone of voice three pitches higher than my actual one. She smacked me upside the head, before reaching to grab her phone. A knock startled us, making Jee jump off the bed, abandoning her phone, and quickly exiting the room. Her face feigned a professional expression as she addressed the person looking for directions.

I huffed in annoyance and went back to the desktop table, spinning in my chair with wheels.

Min Jee, my best friend, avoiding a question? Strange.

I heard the door close fully, as Jee guided the stranger to what I assumed was another room. I glanced over to the bed, and spotted the small, sparkly-encased box, that held the key to all my answers, proudly resting on the bed. Her phone!

I quickly jumped up, sprinting to the phone, as if it was my last moment to do so. I pressed the home button, which a password access came up. I quickly put in the password I knew, in which it was denied. She changed it... without me knowing?

I groaned and threw the phone back down onto the bed, as I dashed to the seat upon hearing the click of the door.

"There's literally signs all over saying where places are. How can you end up by a hospital if you're going to a night club? And why're you even going to a nightclub? It's 2PM! And why would you wear that ugly skirt to a club? Tragic."

I moved my shoulders up and down, not paying much attention. My thoughts were focused only on the mysterious person that stole Jee's attention, so quickly. Jee's ringtone started to play, which was coincidentally Exid-Up and Down.

She ran to the phone, ignoring the seemingly upsetting rant she just had. Once she looked at the screen of her phone, a smile and a sparkling pair of eyes was evident on her face. She quickly exited the room again, but I could hear the faint sound of her excited voice, greeting the caller with a shy yet flirty 'Hey~'.
