After words spread out about Chesk's suicide, the hallways seemed noisier as they talk about her.
"I heard she killed herself because of depression"
"Shouldn't we ask Jose? They were dating after all"
I'm so lost in my thoughts and nothing really mattered after what happened. The box Cheska left me; I gave it to the police after looking through it. I saw the pictures of Hanna and Jet when they were dating, I knew about them dating before but I didn't know he was given a restraining order because of physically abusing Hanna.
The CD where Jet was seen beating up Hanna while Kezia was watching were caught by the CCTV inside their house, and Cheska's phone, where she was able to press record on the day she was raped...
Everything was recorded; from Jet raping Cheska, to Kezia killing Hanna because Hanna's been meaning to tell Cheska that she saw Jet forcing himself to have sex with Kezia when she entered Kezia's unit.
The police called Kezia, and Jet for the investigation and I was also there to tell what I know. We were about to leave the school building when Hanna's mother came rushing towards us and slapped Kezia so hard that every people in the hall shut their mouth.
"How can you kill my daughter?! Are you even human?! Don't you have any conscience?!" Mrs. Marquez shouts as her husband refrains her from slapping Kezia again, she was silent for a moment but Kezia let out a loud cry and kept saying that she was sorry.
"And you!" Mrs. Marquez pointed out Jet "How did you enter our house when you were given a restraining order?!" she said while screaming. Mr. Marquez calmed his wife as we all leave the school for the investigation.
We were now in the investigation room; Jet remains quiet while Kezia was crying her heart out. I cannot stand the sight of Jet being quiet so I shouted at him and said How can you rape your girlfriend's best friend?! I've lost someone special because of your stupidity you know that?!"
Kezia stopped crying and turned to Jet and slapped him this time "You fucking what?! You raped Cheska?! She killed herself because of you!!!" she exclaimed "I was drunk, Kezia! I didn't know what I was doing!"
"It is not an excuse to rape someone! You did it on your own will! You fucking jerk! I should've broken up with you after Hanna warned me! I fucking killed a person for you!"
They were both spitting words at each other that the officer had to separate and stop the two of them from fighting.
Cheska, this is the only way I could give justice to what he has done to you. Hanna, I'm sorry that you got killed because you got yourself stuck between Jet and Kezia's problem. I'm sorry that I didn't care enough to search for your killer.

Hours, days, and weeks have passed since Kezia has been charged guilty for killing Hanna and Jet charged guilty for sexual harassment, multiple times and was sentenced to 4 years to prison. Kezia was sent to a psychiatric rehabilitation center for she was not able to accept the events that had happened and she became insane.
I visited Cheska's tomb and stood there for a while "They were charged guilty Cheska, you don't have to worry anymore. Were you able to meet your father up there? Jet's in prison while Kezia's in rehab. I can't see you anymore so I guess you were able to find comfort there" I prayed for her soul and went straight to rehab after to visit Kezia.
"Sir, if you have problems or if Kezia attacked you like the last time, just press the red button and we'll be there" the psychiatrist told me before entering the room Kezia was in.
When I entered her room she stopped playing and looked at me while smiling "Oh! It's Jose! Come play with me and Cheska!" she said. I slowly approached her and seated in front of her. "You know Cheska's dead and she's in heaven right, Kezia?" I informed her.
"No she isn't" she firmly said "She's dead, but she's not in heaven. She's right beside me" my eyes widened when she told me those words "Why are you saying that Kezia?"
Kezia laughed at me for a second but she looked at me straight in the eyes and said "You can see dead people, how come you can't see Cheska? She can't go to heaven, she committed suicide. Do you think they would let her in in heaven?" I was staring back at Kezia, dumbfounded.
I could choose not to believe her because she's crazy, but what she said bothers me...
