A flustered mind

"Hey, Leo! Here!"

Leo turned around to look straight into the face of his friend Hakyeon. "You scared me.", he said while walking on. "Wait up! I didn't know you would be here. You said you were busy tonight. Were you meeting someone?", he said while putting his arm around Leo's shoulder. Leo tried to push it off, but the arm kept coming back, so he gave up.

"No, I wasn't meeting anyone, but yes, I am busy.", he said sighing.

"Would you mind me joining you in your busy strolling around?"

"Yes, I..."

"Great, then let's go to the fair on the edge of the terrain!"

Before he knew it, Leo was dragged from the quiet side of the market into the busy, bright lights of the adjoining fair. There were multiple rides, but nothing really thrilling or impressive.

"N, you know I don't like the amount of people here. Can't we go back to market? It's quiet there and I could maybe spot some nice products. There was a stall selling wireless headphones... You know I like them."

"Ever since you tripped over Ravi's laces, you talk about nothing but those wireless headphones. Was it that traumatic?", Hakyeon laughed.

"It was just awkward, okay? Can we please just go away from here?"

"Then let's go eat some meat. Agreed?"

Leo smiled and walked towards the exit quickly. Taking a big breath as soon as he got off the grounds, he said, "Where do you wanna go?"

"There's a new restaurant near my house. Wanna try?"

"As long as you pay, I'm fine with it."

Hakyeon laughed and hit his neck. The nice evening air forebode the arriving spring. Cherry blossom just started to open and the festivals were soon to begin. There was no sight more beautiful than the blossom at their prime, a shared thought among anyone who walked down the long streets surrounded by the pink-coloured trees.

"Isn't this the place where you asked her to marry you?", N asked.

"Yes, but as you might know she lies in the past. Hey, is that the restaurant you were talking about?"

"It is, doesn't it look nice?"

The front was pink and multiple animal faces decorated the window.

"N? Seriously? Let me take you to a good place."

"But..."

Leo didn't wait for an answer, but grabbed his arm and pulled him a couple blocks away. A wooden frame fell in sight and soon after, they entered a warm and cosy bar called "the Black Boar". "This is what you call a restaurant, not that pink stuff." Hakyeon pouted and opened his mouth to say something, but Leo had already found Ravi and Ken and joined their table. N remained still, while putting on his best sulking face.

"Coming?", Ravi laughed at Hakyeon's sad face. He smiled and sat down next to Ken. "Hey Leo, it's been a while since I've seen you around. You're not ditching us, are you?", Ravi said jokingly.

"It has just been hectic lately. Besides, I shouldn't drink. Staying away makes it easy to not order.", he answered.

"What could you be busy with? I thought you said work was easy.", Ken mentioned.

"Easy? Well... in some ways, but doing swimming, boxing, taekwondo and soccer on a high level leaves absolutely no time to do anything else. I've been training late for days, so I try to get every bit of sleep I can."
