Hmm... Do I ever get any credit for modifying those stupid necklaces. Not really. No one really notices me. I'm the one who makes things for the group. For example, my brother's dark staff and Jonathan's frozen nun-chucks. I'm the inventor of the group and I rarely get thanks. But there are advantages to this. I'm the only one out of the group who knows all the reasons why the necklaces glow. But I'll leave that story for another day. My brother always gets the spotlight when it comes to attention from J. Why? Cause she favors him. Orange... the power of earth. Mainly, besides the fact that I can create these these epic technological things, I can control earth. But no one else in the group know about these abilities. Yes we have four people that can use magic, but that's not their true power. I was woken up by my annoying brother's voice.

"Wake up, Devon." My eyes fluttered open and the base looked completely different. Technology was splattered everywhere. I quickly grabbed my glasses and stared at the marvelous inventions. J walked up to me holding a wrench.

"You're not the only inventive one." J smiled. I rolled my eyes. As if I forgot the leader once wanted to be an inventor."Get up." She stood next to Drew.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"You shouldn't be asking. You're the one keeping secrets from us." My eyes widened in shock. How does she know?"You're gonna be telling us. To the Training Room."

"So what's going on?" Kailey questioned."Is the brat with the glasses doing anything wrong?"

"Kay Kay, calm down." J faced me with an evil glare."Spit it out. What's up with the necklaces?"

"First of all," I started."How do you know there's something up with the necklaces." I saw J point to my brother and instantly I charged toward him, my hands and necklace glowing.

"Whoa! Bro!" His hands shot up. One flick of my hand and a giant boulder spun towards Drew. Quickly, he jumped up, getting out of the boulder's way. J kept her glare at me.

"How'd you do that? You're not a mage." J interrogated. Aww shit! I wasn't supposed to show them that.

"Okay, I'll explain. You see, with the necklaces we have a special power since birth. You, Drew, Brittany, and Jonathan may be mages, but it doesn't mean you're using your special powers. For example, Brittany has a water ability, but she can cast lasers out of her hands as a mage. You, J, have a psychic ability, whereas visa-verse for my ginger brother. He has the power of darkness." I smirked."A dark power to match a dark mind." Drew launched toward me again. Using another flick of my hand, a rock pillar lifted me away from my brother's distance.

"So what do I have?" Jonathan wondered.

"Ice. Kailey has lightning. Peter has fire. And I shouldn't have to explain myself. I have earth."

"Well that explains powers you hid from us," J stood up."But Drew wasn't in any dangerous situation. His necklace glowed in his sleep." Oh really? Well check what he was dreaming about first before you ask me. J's head twisted straight to the black necklace bearer.

"What?" He looked dead into J's eyes.

"Hey, J. Don't get angry at my bro." I said in defense for Drew."It's not like yours doesn't glows in the middle of the night too. You both have the same dreams." That caused a round of echoing laughs around the room.

"You're not one to speak." J growled.

"Well I had something else to show you." I took out a remote and pressed the giant red button. The Training Room floor opened and out came six outfits, all in different colors. Next to each suit was weapon. Everyone looked back at me to see me wearing orange formal attire; with an exception for the tie, which was black. The other outfits looked exactly alike. A jacket, pants, shoes, and a tie. But they were all  red, blue, yellow, purple, black, and green.

"Put them on. And grab your weapons too." After ten minutes, they had their outfits on. Drew stood first in line, holding a black staff. Jonathan stood next, holding transparent nun-chucks. Kailey was third, holding two striking, yellow swords. Peter was fourth, holding a bag filled with darts. Brittany was fifth, an axe in her hands. J stood last, with a purple ball. I already had my blades hooked onto my arms.

"How come I get a damn ball?!" J asked, furious.

"Can I explain how your ball works? Yeesh. So yours transforms into any weapon at will, depending on what you want. Or you could use it's original ball ability where is targets on a person and does a considerable amount of damage." I swear, our leader can be so impatient and ungrateful.

"What was that about me being impatient and ungrateful?!" J yelled. I thought that! How did she- Oh hell no! Don't tell me-"Aww sweet! I can read minds! Now-" J's ball turned into a wieldable knife. It took me a few seconds to shift myself. By that time, she had just thrown it right where I was sitting before I moved.

"See! Your weapon's cool!" I was scared as hell. Her necklace glowed to lure her weapon back to her. She held it as it turned into three daggers. The first one almost hit my neck. The second almost plunged my heart. The third almost castrated me.

"Are you crazy?!" I yelled.

"No." I looked as J's weapons floated in the air.

"Drew help me!" I screamed.

"Sorry. Can't do anything about her" My brother smirked. Do you want me to die?
