The night took a toll on me. I couldn't sleep whatsoever. I hate those freaking Mage Agents with a passion. The next day, I was woken up by the shifting of my bed. I opened my eyes to see...
"Drew what the hell are you doing in my room?!" I exclaimed, throwing a pillow at his head.
"I couldn't sleep knowing Devon had his test today. So I came in here." Drew explained.
"Dammit, Drew. The suits will think the wrong thing if they see you in my room." I said.
"Let them think." Drew commented. What does he mean let them think?
"Why? They aren't supposed to know about our past." I whispered.
"I miss that past, J. That past where we'd be swimming in my pool. That past where we'd get ice-cream. That past where you wanted to kiss me. I miss that damn past and I'd give up anything to get it back." I saw a single tear slide past his cheek.
"How about we make a deal." I suggested."If Devon wins, we start something small like... Holding hands or somethin'. One by one, if everyone wins, we'll progress. And if you win..." I trailed off. We both knew what we wanted.
"But what if I am after Devon. That's quite a leap from just holding hands." Drew smirked.
"We are the two leaders. They'll pick us last." I said.
"Good. Now lets get up so the suits get the wrong idea." Drew joked. And I couldn't help but smile.
