I awoke in the back of a dark van speeding down the highway at top speed, making my head spin. My body was held steady by two sets of strong hands, one on my wrists and one on my legs, in order to restrain me. A wet cloth was tied around my mouth to keep me from shouting all the obscenities that flowed through my mind. Although I couldn't see much, I knew I was lying across two male bodies, who I assumed were the ones restraining me.

A flash of light from a highway road light illuminated the back of the van for just a minute and I was able to see the faces of the males. Two boys, twins to be exact, stared down at me with beautiful brown eyes that shimmered in the light. The one holding my wrists had a thin face and prominent cheek bones. His nose was petite but fit him perfectly. His biceps, exposed by his black muscle tank, were perfectly toned, making my heart melt. I could feel his abs through his shirt since my face was pressed against them. Like hot damn. The other had a wider face with a more angular chin. His cheekbones were higher than the other's and his nose was slightly larger. It looked a tiny bit crooked which I assumed was the effect of a fist fight. His leather jacket covered a tight black tank top that showed the outline of his abs. Although they both had the same short haircut, their faces were what set them apart.

Not long after I began mumbling through the cloth did they take it off. I spit out the fuzzies that littered my tongue, earning some strange looks from my abductors.

"I don't know what the hell you guys want with me or even who you are. But you're both really fucking hot," I pointed out, not thinking before speaking. I instantly regretted my words and wished I could erase what I had admitted.

The one by my head laughed wholeheartedly. "You're not so bad yourself."

"Aiden, stop flirting with our hostage," the other said. He gave Aiden a look that said he felt bad about calling me a hostage.

"Ethan, I'm just trying to lighten the mood," he defensively argued.

"Can I at least sit up! I'm not going to try to escape. Were going at least 75 on a highway in the dark; jumping out would be suicide," I pleaded my case, hoping for some sympathy.

"Sorry, orders to keep you down just in case," Ethan apologized sincerely. He seemed like the nicer of the twins.

"Oh... Well can I at least know where we are going?"

"Just a warehouse outside of town. You'll find out more when we get there," Aiden vaguely explained.

"I'm sorry about him; he's quite feisty," Ethan apologized obnoxiously for his brother to get a rise out of him.

"It's okay. I guess... But can I please know exactly where we are going?" I begged hopelessly.

"No. Now shut up," Aiden snapped, turning his head out the window.

"Bitch," I muttered under my breath, just audible enough for him to hear me.

We arrived at a bleak behemoth black warehouse that had two large metal doors hanging off their hinges. The metal roof looked un-sturdy and dangerous, as if it could cave in at any moment. The gray color of the building was ominous and I was definitely not ready to face whatever waited for me inside. Hell, I didn't even know if I was going to live. I sent out mental messages to all my friends and family although they would probably never hear them.

I was ushered hastily out of the van and pushed roughly towards the door by Aiden, who had a vice grip on my left bicep. I felt like a rag doll, limp and useless. Once we were inside, I realized how empty this place was. There were a few bails of dull yellow hay and some brown cardboard boxes but other than that, nothing. I was thrown into a pile of loose hay, the strands tangling in my knotty hair. I hit the ground rather hard with an oof and sat up with much difficulty so I could face the people in the room.

There were five people in the room who looked nothing alike. One woman, surrounded by four men, stared at me intently. She had long black hair that reached past her chest and smooth skin that seemed almost too perfect. Her long nails creeped me out and I had to force myself to not stare at them. Next to her were the twins who had taken off their jackets to reveal perfectly toned arms. Beside them was a bald dark skinned man who scared me quite a bit. His eyes were beady and followed my every move. I swore he would attack me the second I misbehaved. He wasn't as buff at the twins but he wasn't fat or skinny. He was just average sized for a guy. In front of all of them was a older looking man who I guessed to be around 50 or 60. His eyes were covered by black aviator sunglasses and his shaggy brownish hair hung loosely over his forehead. He carried a walking stick for the blind so I assumed he was totally or at least partially blind.

"This is McCall? I expected her to look less like her brother," The older one spoke to no one in particular.

"She is a year younger but skipped a grade Deucalion," The woman explained to him; although I didn't see how that would explain why I didn't look like Scott. How did they even know Scott and I? Shit, were they wolves too?

Deucalion nodded his head slowly, interpreting the new information he had on me. "Rian, is it?" I nodded in response, way too petrified to speak. "Welcome. You are going to prove yourself very valuable to us while you're here."

"Why am I here?" I asked, trying to hide the shake in my voice.

"All in good time my dear. First things first. Are you too like your brother? Don't say you don't know what I am talking about. It will only make things worse."

"No, no I am not like Scott," I answered without a moment's hesitation.

Deucalion clicked his tongue with disappointment. "Pity. And to think we would have made you one of us if you were."

"I'm sorry? But what exactly... Are you?" I asked, not really wanting to know the answer.

"Just your usual Alpha Pack."
