This chapter is dedicated to Beth (the_26th_bean)
He leaned towards me and kissed me.
I'm going to be honest with you all. I didn't pull away or slap him or do anything like that. I just stood there like a statue and let him kiss me. Yes, I'm aware I am a fool but deep down I still loved him. Very much so.

I was at home when the buzz of the doorbell disturbed the silence i was quite happily enjoying. I opened the door and found my childhood best friend, Beth, standing there, a giant grin was plastered across her face.
'SURPRISE' her hands frantically waved around her head.
Her long brown hair was tied up out of her face, her gleaming brown eyes staring at me anxiously waiting for me to invite her inside. I mentioned Ed her inwards and grabbed her bag which was quite heavy for once. I suppose it was just her camera equipment and laptop seen as we shared a channel.
'Jesus have you got a dead body in here' I joked.
'Oh my god! Did I bring the wrong bag down?' Her face was shocked but her sarcastic tone was noticiable. Very noticeable in fact. This was why she was my bestfriend, 'all jokes aside...I'm moving in with you!!!'
I screamed with happiness at the fact that I'd be living with my best friend. We always planned stuff like this but we never thought it would actually happen. Never in a million years. Part of the reason she came down was to check if I was okay after everything woth Felix and then she realised I had a spare room.
She carried her bag up the stairs in one hand. I was always the weaker one to be fair. The door was already open, exposing Felix's old room to anyone walking past. He'd took all of his clothes the day he left but he left his duvet covers, his furniture items.
'This is going to need a drastic make over' Beth said, expecting the scene, ' I know we should have similar rooms, just different wall colours and colour schemes. Their the same size and postitioned the same except the doors are on each side.'
I nodded with her enthusiasticly. I really wanted to change my room up. Everytime I sat there looking round and the peeling paint I just had memories rushing round my brain. We made a list of all the furniture and accessories we needed.
Beth rushed down the stairs and out the door towards my car while I grabbed the car keys and house keys. I locked up then walked down the path and pulled the car door open to find Beth dancing to whatever was on capital. As my car hurtled towards the nearest John Lewis, I told Beth everything that happend the other day in the coffee shop and how he kis-
'I swear to god you best had of slapped him. If you didn't I'll do it for you' I could tell her anger was boiling. And fast.
Suddenly my phone started to vibrate visiously. I checked the caller ID quickly so it was not visible to Beth. I had a feeling in my stomach that it would be Felix. I picked up the phone and held it to my ear.
'Hey how are you? What's up?' I asked.
'........'
'Yeah sounds good. I'm in the car at the minute with Beth running a few errands but sure, I can later when I'm back if you want'
'........'
'Just buying some furniture as Beth's moving in with me'
'......'
'Yeah that room indeed!'
'......'
'I'll message you later this afternoon when I'm free'
'...'
'Yeah bye'
I clicked the red button, signaling the end of our short call.
'Was that Hannah on the phone?' Beth asked cautiously.
'Yeah it was' I lied quickly, 'she wants help with some work from uni'
There it was again. Another lie. I've never lied to her before, I hated keeping things from her.
'Actually' I said, clearing my throat, 'it was Felix. He wants to meet up. It could be about you know what but I don't know!'
'Okay, that works too. Ill build both of our furniture because we both know your crap at building anyway' she said with a smile.
We pulled up into the retail park which had all the shops we needed except ikea. We headed into John Lewis to buy some rugs and duvet covers and throw pillows. Then we exited and headed to B&Q to buy some paint and wallpaper. I settled on dark grey walls with a white brick wallpaper for a feature wall to film against. Then after 20 minutes, which felt like a lifetime, Beth settled on a purple wall with no features. We went to the garden section and picked out a fake potted plant for each room. While Beth was picking a plant still I went to the lighting section to get two light shades and two matching table lamps. Beth met me halfway to the till, carrying the plant in both hands and walking weirdly.
Then it was a trip to ikea which was only five minutes down the road. We already knew the furniture we wanted so that made our trip a whole lot easier. We went to the warehouse and Beth checked for the numbers while I pushed the trolley and booked two desk chairs for our rooms. We piled the boxes of the wardrobes and drawers and my set of Alex draws in the back of of my car. I know, I know. Buying Alex drawers is ironic after everything that happended with me and 'Alex' / Felix.
My car hurtled down the road. Back towards home. My comfort zone. I helped Beth unload the car and carry the stuff inside. The house had never felt more comforting and inviting till now. A vibrate of my phone threw me back into the real world.
Felix
We still on for this afternoon?
Sure. Pick me up in twenty?
My heart pounded faster then it ever had. The butterflies flew round my stomach, bouncing and doing somersaults. I felt like a kid again.
