Chapter 2.

I wanna thank Kimika161 for the amazing cover! But, I did have to change the cover. It didn't suit the book anymore but, I still love love love love love! The cover!!!! On with the story!!!!

Lucy's POV

I groaned as I put down my bag. "So how were you and Natsu?" Asked Levy. We were in the locker room getting ready before the game. "I hate him! We sat there in silence for the first few minutes and then for the rest of the day we basically argued." I Said. "You did better than Juvia. Y'know Gray? Well he tried to get reassigned with someone else." Said Juvia sadly.

"Aww! Juvia! You alright? C'mon let's go cut off-" "No girls, we will not be doing any of that." Said Mirajane. "Hey Girls!" I turned and smiled. "Hey Wendy!" We all Said in unison. You see the freshman and the sophomores don't get to have a partner and Wendy so happened to be a freshman. She was the youngest girl on the cheerleading squad but her older brothers so happened to be Natsu Dragneel.

"So Lucy I heard you were paired with my older brother." Said Wendy as the girls in the locker room oohed. I rolled my eyes. "Yeah but he's a total douche bag." I Said. Wendy smiled. "I know he can act all tough sometimes but, he really is sweet." Said Wendy. I shrugged. Maybe Wendy hasn't seen her brothers: shitty, player boy side.

"Okay girls c'mon we gotta go and get in line for the boys!" Said Mira. We all nodded and filed out of the locker room.

"You gonna cheer for Natsu?" Asked Levy. I blushed. "No! I told you earlier! He's a jerk." I Said. Levy giggled. "You gonna cheer for Gajeel?" I asked her. Levy blushed. "Lucy ya know it's not like that!" She Said. I laughed. "Actually Levy you never told us about Gajeel." Said Mira. Levy blushed deeper. "Yeah hasn't he been like your long time crush since eighth
grade?" I Asked. "W-Well Yeah But....He Said he didn't wanna be paired with a shrimp like me!" Exclaimed Levy.

I frowned and hugged Levy. "Aww! It's alright!" I Said. Levy accepted the hug. "And you know what makes it worse! He's making me move in with him!" She Said as I laughed. "But did you move in with him?" Asked Mira. Levy blushed once again. "W-well yeah but only because my mom made me," she said. Me and Mira laughed once again.

"Okay girls! The games almost over! Get in line and do one more cheer." Said Mira. Everyone either nodded or said "Yes mam." I looked over at Natsu as I was doing the cheer. Natsu went to make the winning shot as he smirked and winked at me. I looked down just as he was about to make it with ten seconds left on the clock.

"Natsu! Watch-" I was too late. The other team took the ball and shot as the game was over. The other side cheered but, we still won. They just got another point. I sighed. I've literally got the worst partner ever.

Natsu's POV

The Next Day

I sighed. "Bull crap!" I yelled as a bunch of kids laughed. "No Natsu, it's a rule. And no matter how hard I hate watching you kids grow up so fast, it's the government and I have no say." He said. I rolled my eyes. I looked over and saw that Lucy had her head down as she comforted Juvia who was crying. I shrugged and turned back around.

"Fine but just do you know I won't like this." I Said. The new rule the government added while we were gone over the weekend was that we had to live with our partner. Houses were provided by them and a doctor for when your partner gets pregnant. We only had to stay with the girls for two years and then we're free from baby duty which I'll be doing.

I figured that if all I could do was do as then I might as well. I mean they do give us boys a choice plus, I have my whole life ahead of me. I wanna be a basketball player, if my father will let me. He wants me to take his place in his business but, it could always go to my older brother.

"Mira, pass out the keys to your new houses. Each person gets two keys, don't lose them because you'll be locked out of your house until they get a new copy." He said. I looked at the keys. "What houses were you assigned?" Asked Gajeel. I looked at my keys. "House 777, you?" I Asked Him. "778, what About you Gray?" Asked Gajeel. "779, guess our houses are all beside each other." Said Gray.

"Guess so, makes it easier for us." I Said. "A moving truck will be by to get all your things have them packed up by five. You can leave now. School starts back October 11." He said. Everyone filed out of the gymnasium. "See ya later." I said to Gajeel and Gray. I haven't seen Jellal or Laxus. I shrugged not caring anymore.

I walked out to my car and went to my house and began packing up.

Lucy's POV

I sighed as I climbed into my car. Virgo would have everything packed up by the time I got back. I was pretty lucky since all the girls either lived beside me or across. It would be much better with them all by my side. And if all of our partners happened to leave, we would have each other.

I got out the car and unlocked my door, then opened it and stepped inside. The house was empty. The truck must of grabbed most of my stuff. I went up to my room and grabbed the rest of my things that could fit inside my car. I sighed and looked around the house one last time. I'll be back. When Natsu's And I's relationship doesn't work I'll live here.

I walked inside the house. It was fairly big, not as big as mine though. It had three stories with six bedrooms. "Lucy," Said a voice. I turned and crossed my arms. "What do you want-" "I'm not here to argue. I've came up with a truce." He said. "Okay, and what is that?" I Asked Him. "Come with me," he said leading me outside to his car. "Okay Fine, as long as it's still a truce."
