A Good Team

POV-(Y/n): I was running through the forest with Vernal and holy shit she has an amazing ass! It looks so firm and fit as she ran in front of me. We were following the Deathstalker that was chasing Pyrrha, hoping that it would possibly lead us back to the others. We almost caught up to it when the beast swept it's tail and completely leveled a few trees, blocking our path.
Vernal: Damn it!
(Y/n): We can still climb over them!
We were then interrupted by a loud roar, and then a few snarls after it.
Vernal: I think we've got bigger problems.
A large Ursa then ran out of the trees and attempted to ambush us but we both dodged in opposite directions. As the Ursa turned around a whole pack of roughly 10 more emerged from the dense woods. I looked at Vernal and she smirked at me and I knew we had a plan.
I shot a strong whirlwind wave behind me which launched me forward as I drew Goldbrand and cut off one of the ursa's hind legs, then as it fell Vernal leaped forward into the air and cut off the beast's head before it even hit the ground! She was amazing.
Vernal: Great precision with that cut! *pats his shoulder*
(Y/n): That was amazing! You just leapt through the air that easily?
Vernal: *smirks* Thank you! Yeah I learned it from a...well from a friend. I didn't ask last time, but how did you learn to shoot gusts of wind behind you like that?
I thought she was being a bit suspicious with how she answered my question, since we just met I decided to do the same.
(Y/n): I had a great teacher that taught me.
Vernal: Really? Interesting
She was staring at me inquisitively with those beautiful pale blue eyes, like she knew I was being cautious. I couldn't help but get lost in her gorgeous eyes.
Vernal: Well it was grea-
ROOOAAAR
Vernal and (Y/n): Shit.
We got so distracted by talking to each other that we didn't even notice we were surrounded by the pack of Ursa from before.
Vernal: You up to kill some more?
(Y/n): You don't even have to to ask beautiful.
She gave me a very sexy smirk and we began by going back-to-back. I launched fireballs from Goldbrand as she fired some sort of laser from her circular blades. We completely obliterated the grimm only for another hoard of a few to replace them. Vernal leapt forward and easily killed two of the Ursa with her blades as I did the same and decapitated one as the other swiped at me, but I swiftly cut off it's arm and then cut the beast in half at the waist. Another one then stood up on it's hind legs while I was still turned around. I saw it out of the corner of my eye, only for it to be shot from behind by Vernal and killed.
Vernal: Not bad, you show off.
(Y/n): Thanks, and what else can I say? I'm having fun.
We smiled and approached each other but then a pack a Beowolves ran towards us.
(Y/n): These fucking things are everywhere!
Vernal: We don't have time for this! Get behind me.
(Y/n): *Smirks* You don't have to tell me twice.
Vernal: *Rolls her eyes* Not like that naughty boy.
(Y/n): Don't go getting my hopes up now! *smiles*
She then let out an adorable laugh.
Vernal: I'm going to take care of the rest of them!
(Y/n): By yourself? There's at least 15 of them.
Vernal: *Smirks* Watch this.
Vernal closed her eyes like she was focusing on something, then before my very eyes she began to levitate! I looked up to see a bunch of grey clouds form and swirling around in the sky and it began to rain. Then, she exhaled and opened her eyes. They had a beautiful bright blue glow around them! I was in awe. She slowly raised her right arm, then swiftly brought it down and as she did, a giant bolt of lightning ripped through the sky and completely annihilated all the beowolves! Afterwards all the grey clouds cleared up and she lowered gracefully back to the ground, her eyes losing their bright blue glow and going back to their normal beautiful pale blue. She then fell back but I caught her.
(Y/n): Are you ok Vernal?!!!
Vernal: *Groans* Yeah, that just takes a lot of my energy.
She was still in my arms and we gazed into each other's eyes, then she started to blush and quickly got back up on her own two feet.
Vernal: *Blushing* S-Sorry, it always take a bit before I can recuperate.
(Y/n): It's perfectly alright. Speaking of which...
Vernal: What?
(Y/n): WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?!
She looked a bit surprised by my outburst.
Vernal: You didn't like it!?
(Y/n): Actually I thought it was INCREDIBLE! I've just never seen anything like it before! I mean I've seen others cast lightning back in Morrowind but I've never seen someone LITERALLY summon a storm and manipulate the weather to call down a fucking bolt of lightning before!
Vernal's face started to turn pink.
Vernal: Wow, Thank you!
(Y/n): How did you do it?!
She started to open her mouth to speak but was interrupted by a loud shriek as the same nevermore I had been following flew overhead.
Vernal: I'll tell you later, we should go if you want to find your friends. *Smiles*
(Y/n): Good idea but I'm going to hold you to that! *Smiles*
Vernal: I wouldn't have it any other way.
We both began running after the Nevermore.

POV-Glynda: It had been roughly five minutes since the grey clouds came in and the rain interrupted the signal of the cameras to this tablet, which was a shame because this (Y/n) and Vernal duo were looking very promising after they killed an Alpha-Ursa and an entire hoard of others with relative ease. Odd, considering it's sunny again now.
Ozpin: Anything notable Ms Goodwitch?
Glynda: Ms Vernal and Mr (L/n) made a very effective duo and were cutting through grimm like a hot knife through butter before I lost signal.
Ozpin: The Morag Tong boy and the bandit tribe girl? Interesting, I'm curious to see how they fair through the rest of the test since they've already retrieved a relic.
Glynda: You and I both. It's interesting the two would meet and become partners considering how they have similar pasts.
Ozpin: Indeed, this is getting exciting.
