The flash hits me like a baseball bat
Freeze!
I continue to hold the pose, trying not to be stupid
The picture slowly comes out the top
The heat is focused on the frozen history
After waiting the moment appears
A faint hint of what previously happened
A grin, blurring out the crookedness of teeth
A position, super awkward, weird angle, descriptive
A chocker, a gift, placed perfectly feathered down
A flannel, opening at the top, exposing chest
To some, it cute, awkward, weird
To me, it's me
