The next day I took a half-day shift to finish all the work I missed.
No one was here, and I felt kind of lonely. It's not like I have friends at work but presence does make a difference.
I was getting tired of the silence, so I worked while listening to some music. That helped a lot and I got to finish much earlier.
By 1 pm I completed everything I needed to and left the building for some free time.
There wasn't anything I had planned so I called Taehyung to see if he was up to something.
"Hello?"
I heard noises in the background. It sounded like a crowd.. A lot of people.
Where could he be? Today is a Saturday and he barely likes going outside, especially during day light.
"You busy? I'm free."
Taehyung hesitated.

"Ah. Okay then."
I didn't want to bother him. I didn't ask anything and said bye.
