I sat frozen in my seat. I knew I had to apologize, but I really didn't know how.

Jimin's hurt expression lingered before my eyes and his voice kept repeating in my head.

"You crossed the line, Ms. Jung."

"UGHHHHH."

Kim Namjoon gave me a look.

I still couldn't believe myself. Why did I decide that it was a good idea to look through someone else's medical records?

Especially someone that is my superior at work!

My phone rang and I got back to my senses.

'Brother.'

I was half glad he called, there was no other distraction as good as this one.

I walked out of the office, prepared to receive all the questions.

"Riah! How are you my precious sister? Did you have breakfast this morning? I couldn't check since I slept in last night. Maybe I should set an alarm-"

"Hi Hoseok."

As expected, he burst out with questions before I even said "hello."

"Why is your voice so down? Should I stop by and drop off some snacks?"

I smiled. Hoseok might be a bit.. over-protective at times, but I knew it was because he loved me more than anything in the world. And I loved him back.

"No that's fine, thank you though. I'll see you at home soon."

"Hmm.. Okay then. Come quickly! I miss you Riah."

I spent the rest of the day barely doing any of the work. I kept zoning out and stressing over what happened.

I thought Namjoon would give me some more disapproving stares but he didn't.

Instead, he offered me a piece of gum with a sympathetic look. Even he could tell that I was in deep trouble.

When the clock struck 9, I packed my bag and dragged myself out the door.

What the doctor said earlier suddenly popped up in my head. I was supposed to reduce my stress level. Ha, as if.

The bus dropped me off at the usual spot and I trudged through the familiar alley way.

As I was walking the street lights suddenly flickered, and most went off.

"What the hell.."

There were only around 4 lights that were working, but I could still manage to see where I was going.

Today was not a good day. I sped up my pace since the atmosphere was eerie now.
