Shikamaru x Reader ~ // One shots~// {OPEN}

1: How you met

It was a dark,cold and windy night as you sat under a tree watching the fire flies and watching the milky way. You sighed heavily and started drifting off into your slumber until you heard a small rustle in the bush. You turned your head around to face a handsome young  boy who seemed to be around 18-20 years old. He hand spikey hair pulled high up into a pony tail and he was wearing a green vest. He soon looked down at you then at the stars.

''The stars are nice tonight aye?''

You look forward to the stars and smile widely.

''Yea they sure are!''

He nods and sits down next to you leaning on the tree. You both sit there in silent, it wasn't any awkward silence it was comforting silence. Even though you just met him, you both instantly clicked and you felt completely natural around him. Like you can be anyone you want around him. The chain of silence was soon broken.

''So I never quite found out your name''

'' (Y/N)''

He then looks around. He looks at you, then your eyes, then your hair, Then the stars.

''You have unusual hair and eyes (Y/N)''

You widened your eyes and laughed.

''Well, aren't you just amazing at compliments?'' 

He chuckles lightly and yawns covering his mouth.

''Well I didn't quite introduce my name. The names Shikamaru.''

You start laughing loudly tears at the brims of your eyes as you hold your stomach.

''Pfft bahaha! And you mock me for my name!''

He soon pouts and flicks your forehead. You both continue to look into the sea of stars, watching the memorizing milky way glimmer in the night sky. As you both stare at the moon at the corners of your eyes. You never noticed that his attention had turned fully onto you, as he stared into your glimmering (E/C) eyes. He smiled lightly, taking in all your facials and scents. You smelled like cherry blossoms, so many nice scents together. Your eyes were ever so bright in such a cold stormy night. Every time the wind blew your hair would blow slowly. 

''Aren't you getting bored of staring at me?''

He quickly looked away and blushed.

''I-I wasn't even looking.. I-I was just a-admiring the... tree beside y-you?''

You look beside you and give him a dumb founded look.

''Hun, there ain't no tree beside me. One of your eyes must be bung''

He chuckles nervously and scratches the back of him neck like any normal human being would. Soon after another pause of silence just behind you guys, you saw deer's trotting forwards. They looked absolutely gorgeous, bright white with stunning emerald green eyes. There horns spread around like branches. All separating into different ways like life cells. Exploring inside the human body adventuring new areas every second. Soon a few babies started running in front of them making the cutest of noises.

You and Shikamaru smiled at them as one stared deep into Shikamarus eyes.

''What?''

Soon as Shikamaru said that the deer huffed and trotted away following behind its ''pack''.

You giggle as Shikamaru made comments of ''I must have been so gorgeous that deer couldn't of looked away'' After many many hours of staring at the stars and the milky way. You both fall into your deep slumbers as you fall asleep soundly on Shikamarus shoulder. And you only had known each other for half a night. How fascinating. 

===TIME SKIP===

you woke up yawning and stretching from sitting on the uncomfortable grass all night long, although you did have quite a comfortable pillow that you happily slept on. You lazily looked beside you to see Shikamaru sleeping soundly beside you, you smiled happily as you looked at all his facial expressions just as he did with you. 

You started to poke and squish his cheeks attempting to wake him up but surprising he didn't wake up. You frowned and grabbed a branch and starting hitting him in the head with that. And yes of course he didn't wake up, so. You decided to hit him with the stick extremely hard making it snap he woke up and yawned casually. You stared at him with a very stupid look on your face. 

''What?''

You laughed at him and extended your hand out for him to grab.

''Walk me home''

He stared at you, and took your hand. He started walking you home as you walked though the forest taking in all the gorgeous nature around you. The birds chirping, And the deer's running past jumping over the lake on Shikamarus side. It was just breath taking. As soon as you arrived home you bowed and thanked Shikamaru for taking you home and watching the stars with her. 

''Anytime (Y/N)''

He smiled. He then reached out for your hand and took it into his, you blushed brightly. He brought your hand to his mouth and kissed your hand. He looked up at you and smiled.

''See you another time..''

He waved and so did you. Once you no longer saw his figure you closed your door lightly. You slid down the door and blushed and looked at your hand. And smiled

''Shikamaru..''
