Chapter 5

~Tuesday~

Hayes and I have been hanging out a lot more after school and getting closer. We don't really talk much in school though, but that's more because he doesn't want anyone to know that we know each other, I don't understand why, but I leave it be.

Today is kind of like a free day at school. You pretty much only have to be here for attendance, but don't have to do any school work, so most of us are just in groups around the classroom talking.

"Justine truth or dare?" Damon who is one of the football players asked. "Truth." I said not sure if he would give me a bad dare or not.

"Boring, but do you have a crush on someone?" He fake yawned, then looked at me, as well did everyone else in the room. "Yes." "Who?" "Nuh uh uh, Jaidyn truth or dare?" "Dare!" "Hmm, Ooh! sing the first song that comes to your head."

She rolled her eyes, then shouted out the lyrics to Location by Khalid. The game continued until it was my turn. "Justine, Truth or Dare?" Another one of the football players asked. "Dare."

"I dare you to kiss someone in this class." I looked around the room and saw Hayes standing by the area where we turn in our homework.

I saw a few boys close their eyes and pucker their lips, but I just walked straight on passed them, and over to Hayes.

I tapped his shoulder and he turned around, then I got on my tippy toes and put my hands on his neck, pulling him closer to me, then kissed him.

He kissed back instantly. I was a little surprised, because I expected him to hesitate or push me away.

We pulled away, a few seconds later and I smiled at him. He just looked down at his feet and blushed. "You're so cute." I whispered, then walked back over to my friends.

No one knows, but that was my first kiss. I'm kind of glad that he was my first kiss. I've always had a crush on him since the first time I laid eyes on him.

School went on, with tons of people asking me, why I kissed Hayes and not one of the popular guys. I responded each time with, "He's cute and seems nicer than the other boys."

Once school had ended, I went to my locker, grabbed my stuff and started walking home. About halfway home, I heard someone's foot steps behind me.

(When your favorite Character from a show, shows up in another show :) I was writing and then I heard "Stefan Salvatore" get mentioned on The Originals and looked at my computer and got really happy when I saw him lol.)

I turned around, to see Hayes running to catch up to me. I stopped and waited for him. When he got to me, he smiled at me.

"Okay, I have a question." "Okay." I giggled at him. "Why did you kiss me? Out of all of the boys in our class, why me?" "Because I like you and those other guys suck."

"What do you mean, By I like you?" He asked. "I like you, as in whenever I see or talk to you I get butterflies in my stomach." "You have a crush on me?" He asked shocked.

"Yeah..." "Why?" "I don't know, I guess you just seem like a great guy and I can't help but smile and be in a good mood whenever I see you."

He just smiled at me. "Ah! your smile is so cute!" "Stop!" He whined. "What?" I giggled. "You're making me blush." He pouted. "Well, that makes you even more cute."

We continued to talk, until we were home, then we went our separate ways. I went into my house that is just chaos and he went into his peaceful and quiet house.

The living room is completely trashed. Pizza boxes and Chinese takeout containers everywhere, and the couch is upside down and the cushions are spread out across the room.
