First day back. Kids with backpacks double the size of them paced back and fourth, filled with nerves. I was slanted against the bus stop at the top of my road, my earphones in, playing Blink-182 I miss you.
"BOO" shouted a voice from behind.
"JESUS! You scared the hell out of me then!" I replied. It was Jess.
"Ahaha. I can hear your music so loud out your plugs." We laughed and chatted the rest of the way, talking about miscellaneous things.
As we turned the corner I could see the herds of people flocking to the doors like someone had just set off the fire alarm. Within the crowed I spotted Ellen, holding her ground firmly against the ploughing crowd despite her small frame. We followed behind everyone trying to reach her.
"Ellen! What happened here?"I questioned, yelling down the hall.
"Some of those douches got in this big fight, I think. Well that's what it seems."
"Typical senior idiots!" Jess butted.
In class I was sitting near the back when 3 boy around the same height, walked in. The first Blonde with blue eyes dressed in black skinny jeans and a blue jumper. Secondly followed a green eyed boy with dyed dirty blonde hair in red plaid shirt. Finally a boy with dark brown eyes and dark brown almost black hair in a leather jacket entered. I'd seen all these boys before wandering around the halls but I had never spoken. The Three of them sat behind The three of us.
My classes rolled on throughout the day until final period, MATHS.
"Alright class. I have a new seating plan. Everybody find your seat and don't complain...no exceptions!" announced our teacher Mr Randal, as he flicked through the slides. And lucky me. I was sat on a table full of only boys. I found my seat, grabbed my books and pencil case out my bag. Just hoping no one would talk to me.
"Hey! Can I borrow a pen!" whispered the boy next to me. I looked up through my bangs to see his green eyes staring into mine. He was one of the three boys I saw before in class.
"Errr, yeah." routing for a working, un-chewed pencil. "Here." I mumbled avoiding any possible eye contact while passing the pen.
"Your Niamh, right?"
I nodded in return.
"Hi. I'm Michael."
"Well then, nice to meet you Michael!" I looked up, smiling.
