The rest of the day fluttered by, crossing in and out if lessons had drained me, also the sweltering Australian heat was not helping. The trees dancing in the faint breeze were like a music video to my playlist.
"Hey wait up!" Whistled a voice behind. It was Calum. He skidded to a halt, wheezing, breathless. My arms flung out in front to stop from toppling to the floor.
"Hey, you okay?" I asked.
"Yeah thanks. I was just wondering, you free tomorrow, after school?" he spluttered between breaths
"I'm pretty sure I am, why?"
"The guys and I wanna start band practice so if your free come round to Luke's straight from school."
"Okay but I dunno where Luke's is?" Immediately Calum pulled out a pen and jotted down Luke's address. 10 Reid Street. Guess I'll just google the directions.
"Thanks, see you their then!"
"See you! Oh and bring your guitar!" Calum finished then ran into the distance.
My head couldn't process what had just happened. Quickly I pulled out my phone and texted Jess. 'I have so much to tell you! Call me ASAP!!!'
