“Do you think she'll like this?” Jaewon asked. “I’m pretty sure she will! I remember she mentioned that she likes stuff like this…” Minsoo replied. “Do I have to wear this…?” “The rest of us are, so you have to wear it too, Dongho.”

Daehyun stood at the doorframe wearing a maid outfit, looking fine as hell. Jaewon and Dongho stood a little ways off also wearing maid outfits also looking fine as hell. “So why aren't you wearing a maid outfit Minsoo?” Jaewon questioned. “Because the Author couldn’t find a photo of me in one.” “What?” “Nothing, anyways, I'm not wearing one because I'm going to be distracting her if she comes too early. So if you guys want this to happen, let’s go right now!”

And so, the members of Mayhem left their dorm, and headed towards their destination, (Y/N)’s house.

“Is she inside?” Dongho asked. “I don't think she is, wait, let me call her.” Minsoo dialled (Y/N)’s phone number and waited for her to pick up.

“Hello? Minsoo?”

“(Y/N)! Uh, hi!”

“Yeah? Why’d you call?”

“Um, just wondering where you are right now.”

“Where I am? I’m… in your heart?”

Cue Minsoo coughing heavily.

“Minsoo? I’m sorry, that was lame. I'm actually on my way back home…”

“Wait, really? Uh, instead of going home, could you wait at XOXO Cafe instead? I wanna hang out with you.”

“Okay, sure.”

“Good! I'll be there in 15 minutes.”

Minsoo hung up and turned to the maid-boys. “Okay, I’m going to distract her for awhile, so you guys call me when you’re ready, okay?” “Yes, Leader-nim!” they said in sync. Minsoo gave them the key to your house, and left them there. “Don't break anything!” He said as he left. “Let’s get started hyungs!” Daehyun said as he unlocked the door and went inside. Dongho and Jaewon exchanged looks and headed inside.

Minsoo sat at a table waiting for you with your favorite drink. As he sat there, he thought about what you said.

“Where I am? I’m…in your heart?”

His blushed at the thought. After all, you weren't wrong about that. The boy had liked you since you first met in high school, and had always wondered if you’d ever accept his feelings.

The bell chiming snapped him out of his thoughts, and he looked up to see you walking towards him. He stood up and smiled. She looks so pretty.

“Minsoo! Why’d you wanna hang out?” You asked. “Oh, I, I just wanted to hang out with my best friend. Is that a crime?” You smiled at him. “Of course not! But what about the others?” “The others? Oh, they um, had plans…” his voice trailed off. You thought maybe they had abandoned him to hang out somewhere and he probably felt disappointed.

“Okay then! Is that my drink?” You say down opposite him. “Hm? Oh, yeah.” He handed you your drink and you took a sip. “So, what’s been going on?” Minsoo sighed. “Well…”

Meanwhile, at your house, the three maids were tidying up.

“Dongho-hyung! You have to sweep properly! Don't you know how to sweep?” Daehyun snatched the broom out of his hands and continued sweeping. “You can help Jaewon-hyung with the deco instead. Both of you better be finished when I get there!” Dongho sighed and went to sit down with Jaewon who was blowing balloons.

“He really is the mum of our group.” Dongho said as he picked up a balloon and started blowing. “Hmm? Oh y-yeah. He’d be a great husband.” “Yeah he would. What about me? Would I be a good husband?” Jaewon stared at him for a moment before replying. “Yeah, you would. What about me?” “I think you’d be great with my kids.” “...what?” Jaewon looked at Dongho who had frozen up. A blush was forming on his face.

“HYUNGS! ARE YOU DONE WITH THE BALLOONS?!”

Daehyun’s voice echoed throughout the house, saving Dongho from the embarrassment of explaining his statement. “Almost done Dae!” both of them yelled back before continuing their work.

“Phew… We’re finally done.”

The boys looked around the living room of your house. Daehyun was satisfied with everything. This is going to be the best celebration ever. “Dongho-hyung, is the cake ready?” he asked. Dongho, who was tired of being bossed around by the youngest replied, “Yes, it is. Should we call Minsoo now?” “Yeah, I think we can. Jae-hyung! Call Minsoo-hyung.” Jaewon dialed his number and waited for him to pick up.

“Minsoo? You can come over now.”

“You guys are done already?”

“Yup. Please hurry.”

“Alright, we're on our way.”

Jaewon turned to the other two and told them Minsoo was on his way with you. “Okay, let’s freshen up a little.” Daehyun said.

You were laughing at Minsoo’s joke as he received a call. “Oh, sorry, I have to take this.” he said. “Alright.” He stood up and walked a small distance away from the table you two were sitting at. You looked down and sighed. Even though you were having fun with him, he had not once mentioned your birthday. He probably forgot…

Minsoo came back to the table and smiled at you. “Come on, we're going somewhere.” “What? Where?” “It’s a surprise,” he smirked. “Let’s go.”

The two of you ended up in front of your house. “This is a pretty shitty surprise, Minsoo.” “The surprise, my dear (Y/N), is inside.” “What do you mean inside…?”

You opened the door to your home only to be greeted by Daehyun, Dongho and Jaewon posing sexily in… maid outfits. “Master, welcome back home!” they greeted you.

Cue nosebleed and fainting.

“Uh… I think we broke her.” Jaewon said worriedly. “...her nose is bleeding.” Dongho observed. “Oh my god, should we do something?” This time it was Minsoo. They were all panicking now. “Wait! I think she’s waking up!”

You sat up and rubbed your head. “Holy hell, I had a dream that Dongho was in a maid outfit…” “...me and Daehyun are wearing maid outfits too.”

You widened your eyes. You looked up and saw that they were definitely wearing maid outfits. “...holy shit. You guys look hot.” Daehyun smiled at your compliment and curtsied(?). “Thank you.” “Your welcome, but why? Why are you guys dressed up? I mean, I really don’t mind but… Why?”

“We wanted to surprise you! After all, it is your birthday.” Jaewon explained. “Oh my god, seriously? You guys wanted to surprise me with maid outfits?” “Yup, it was Minsoo’s idea.” “Minsoo, this was a great idea.” “I know. Now that you look better, let’s actually celebrate your birthday.”

Dongho brought out your cake and lighted the candles. They sang Happy Birthday for you and then you blew out the candles. You felt so happy celebrating with your friends, especially since three of them were looking good in maid outfits, like, damn. After you blew out the candles, they all went to hug you. As they hugged you, they said,

“Happy birthday (Y/N), we hope you enjoyed this.”
