Hello lovelies!! I'm so sorry about the long wait! As you can see, I've put this into three parts because I wanted to go into depth with Audrey's character and her relationships with other characters. So... sorry again. Enoy!

                                                    ~~~~~********~~~~~~~
I was currently sprawled out on my stomach on Kira's bed, a book on Japenese folklore opened in front of me, while Kira sat up, a book in her hands, and her headphones on. So far, I haven't found anything helpful. Despite what Derek told me about being a protector, I was clueless as to what I was exactly. I closed the book, awkwardly putting it back on the bedside table. I sat up on her bed, crossing my legs. Kira had brought me a pile of useless stuff that she needed to get rid of to practice on. I focused on an old, dusty phone with a cobweb of cracks covering the face of it. When nothing resulted from my focus, anger flared in me. The phone went flying across the room, smashing into the mirror, giving the mirror a look similar to its own.
Kira looked up suddenly, taking off her headphones and scrambling off the bed. I followed after her, apologizing. "Fix it," she commanded. I put my hands up in surrender, shaking my head. "Audrey, I know you can do it. Come on."
I bit my lip, focusing on the mirror. One by one, the cracks sealed, soon restoring the smooth surface. "Okay, Kira, you have to admit that was awesome."
She laughed, shrugging. "I guess my awesomeness is rubbing off on you."
I scoffed. "You wish."
She flopped back onto her bed, picking up where she left off in her book. I sat down on the edge of her bed, rifling through my bag for my pajamas. I felt the bed tip on her side, a clicking sound following. I looked over at her. I could feel the sense of power emanating from her again. I sat back to see what would happen. After calling for her mom, she sat up, unscrewing the lamp shade. She reached out for the bulb, and it sparked. She flinched back while I got closer. She tentatively reached out for the bulb again, slowly resting her fingers on the bulb. It lit up as if it weren't burnt out... then it pretty much exploded. I quickly pulled Kira back as the glass from the bulb shattered in every direction but ours.
Her mom walked in only a second later, a mixture of shock and fear in her features. "What did you do?" Her face became stoic.
"Uh, nothing. It was an accident."
"It's after midnight, you girls should be asleep," she said, walking over to us. She brought a new bulb out of a box, then began to screw it in. Three skinny sparks shout out towards where Kira's mom's fingers touched the bulb. She gave us a quick glance before taking a deep breath and screwing the bulb in completely. "Go to sleep," she ordered before marching out of the room.
 Kira and I exchanged looks before my phone rang. After checking the caller ID, I told Kira I was stepping outside. If Scott called me and not her, something was definitely up. I tiptoed through the hallway, cringing every time I made even the slightest sound. When I finally made it to the front door, I turned the knob, almost cursing at the squeaky noise it made. I slipped out into the dark night, pulling the sleeves of my sweater further down since it was freezing. I looked down at the phone screen, making sure Scott hadn't hung up. Thankfully, he didn't.
"What's up?" I asked, my teeth starting to chatter. I was in no way used to this weather.
His voice sounded panicked when he spoke. "Have you heard from Stiles?"
"Not since 8 when he told me he was going to sleep. Why? Scott, what's going on?"
"He called me--"
At that precise moment, the line beeped. I checked my phone, seeing it was Stiles. Maybe he could shed some light onto why Scott was freaking out over him. "Hold on, Scott. He's calling me now." I clicked the hold option on the screen to answer Stiles' call. "Stiles, what the hell is going on? Scott's calling me, freaking out."
