"I just can't believe he did it again." Nicole's said putting her fork down next to her plate. "I'm telling you, he's not good enough for you. He never was Nicole." Katelyn responded. Taking a bite of bacon. "I don't know about that Katelyn. I just oh I don't know how to feel about this. He doesn't even like me romantically." "Exactly, I say yoi forgot him. We can go beat the crap out of him this afternoon." Katelyn half-joked. Nicole laughed and shook her head. "No Katelyn, we can't do that." "Why not~" Katelyn whined leaning her head on her friend's shoulder. Nicole just laughed and patted Kateyln's cheek. "Kateyln~sama. It's early why are you awake?" Kawaii~chan yawned walking into the kitchen. "Your welcome for the breakfast Kawaii~chan." Nicole looked at her phone checking the time "Oh crud, I gotta get ready for work guys. "I messed up." "Big time," Travis said his voice muffled as he ate his breakfast. "Thanks, Travis." "Anytime buddy." Dante sighed and stood up. "Where are you going?" "For a walk. I need a break from you and your breakfast tacos." "Don't shame me, Dante!" Travis shouted as Dante closed the door. He stared at his phone scrolling through Instagram when he collided with somebody with red hair. "Dante?!" "Nicole?!" "How are, umm how you been?" Nicole said with an awkward chuckle. "Good, you know rooming with Travis. He's a nice roommate. And I share a house with him." "You said that twice." "Oh I did" The awkward silence surrounding them was the loudest sound he's ever heard. "IM SORRY!" Dante said suddenly. "Loud" "Sorry, Nicole I should have told you how i felt from the start. I still really like you." Dante admitted looking down at his feet. "Dante, I love you. But I don't think you're ready for a proper relationship with me. Or if you ever will be." Nicole said backing way from him. Dante frowned before starting to snicker softly. "You...what? Why are you laughing?!" Nicole asked angry. She was trying to be mature and here Dante was laughing. "I-I'm not ha, I'm not laughing at you. Its just. We're having this conversation on the same day you broke up with me back in highschool!" Dante said between giggles. "How do you remeber something like that?" Nicole asked starting to chuckle herself. "You walked to me at lunch slammed a copy of 'To Kill a Mockingbird' on my table and told me get up. Katelyn was next you. Next thing I remeber im in the nurses office." Dante stopped to catch his breath. "It's not that funny Dante." "You're laughing too Nicole!" "Crap, I am!" Nicole said. They laughed and talked as they walked to Nicoles car. Standing by the driver side door they both stopped. Nicole sighed and opened the door. "Think we can still be friends?" Dante asked placing his hand on the opened door. "Of course, you need a voice of reason in your life." Nicole said moving her hair behind her ear. "Hey! I do not." "So its in agreement, friends?" "Friends" Dante smiled and moved back giving Nicole room to get into her car. "Bye Dante, i'll text you later. After I change your contact name." "What is it now?" "I'll tell you later when I don't have to watch my language." "Huh?" "Bye!" Nicole called reversing onto the road. Dante chuckled and began to walk back to his house. "Bye Nicole."
Request by Blossom31104 As much as I do ship dancole at this point in the series I can not see them being in a romantic relationship. Maybe they'll try again after Dante learns to not repeat mistakes. Maybe I'll make one where they get together later. Anyway comment and read some of my other works. Have a nice day.
