Hazel Eyes // Max Mills fanfic

A lot has been happening with Max & Blake so here's a Harvey chapter ;)

Harvey's POV:

"Harvey!!" I heard Tilly yell as I woke up.
"Yes?" I replied looking at her.
"Can we go to Aliyah's house?" She asks.
"Not now Tills" I laughed a little.
"But I wanna play with Ben" Tilly pouted.
"Aw, we can maybe hang out with them in a little bit but it's early still" I tell her and sat up.
Ben was Aliyah's little cousin who was around Tilly's age.
"Yay!" Tilly cheered and ran out.
I got up and went downstairs. I tossed some toast in the toaster and poured a cup of coffee while waiting for my toast.
My toast popped and I took it out before putting some butter on it and sitting at the table with my coffee and toast. I took a sip of coffee and my phone buzzed.
I looked over at it and noticed a text from Aliyah

Hey Harv

Me:
Hey

🌸Aliyah🌸:
Whatcha up to today?

Me:
Nothing really tbh

🌸Aliyah🌸:
Did you wanna hang out maybe? Ben wants to see Tilly also 😂

Me:
Yeah, we could hang out today. Tilly was just saying how she wanted to see Ben a little bit ago😂

🌸Aliyah🌸:
Okay, how about in like an hour? 

Me:
Sounds good

🌸Aliyah🌸:
Okay seeya then 😊

I smiled before putting my phone down.
I finished my toast and coffee before going upstairs. "Tilly, we're gonna hang out with Ben and Aliyah in an hour!" I tell her.
"Yay!" Tilly says and runs into her room, probably to get ready.
I hop in the shower, get dressed and fix my hair before Tilly runs in.
"Which dress?" She says holding two options.
"That one" i point to one of them and and brush my teeth.
"Thanks" She says before skipping out.
I spray cologne on and slide my shoes on before walking into Tilly's room.
"Just finishing up my hair" Tilly says, combing her hair.
I nod and leaned against the wall looking to see if  Aliyah had texted me.
She didn't and Tilly was ready. "Lets go Harvey!" She says and runs downstairs.
I walk downstairs and she's putting her shoes on.
I open the door and we both walk down the driveway and wait a moment.
About a minute later Aliyah and Ben walked down their driveway.
Ben ran across the street and hugged Tilly.
Aliyah smiled at them, then me as she walked across the street over to us.
"Hey" she looked up at me.
"Hey" I smiled.
"Sorry about last night my brother came out and.."She started
"It's okay, don't worry about it" I tell her.
She nods. "So maybe after the kids are done playing did you maybe wanna um.. go get s-something to eat?" She asks, nervously.
"You beat me to it, I was gonna ask you on a date" I laughed a little, her too.
"So is that a yes?" She smiled.
"Definitely" I smiled back.
I look over and see Tilly and Ben doing cartwheels before looking back at Aliyah.
"Oh yeah, where's Blake?" She asks.
"Um inside I think, why?" I reply.
"Earlier she texted me asking if I had any muffins or cupcakes or anything related to that" she says and I facepalm.
Her pregnancy cravings, she's wanted muffins for who knows how long.
"She's inside" I laughed a little and walked up the driveway, her following.
We walked in and Blake and Max are talking, sitting on the couch.
"What do I mean? If it's a boy it's name isn't gonna be Maximus the great Guy" Blake says.
"I didn't say that name exactly, I said it would be funny!" Max said and I don't think they realized we came in.
"So this baby is a joke to you?" Blake's eyes got watery.
"No, no, no! That's not what I said. I was just messing around.. what names would you like?"Max saved himself.
"I like Luca" Blake mentioned.
"That's a nice name-oh hi guys" Max noticed us.
"Hey.." i reply.
"How long were you here for?" Max asks.
"Don't worry about it, Aliyah brought you something Blake" I said.
Aliyah walks over and hands Blake a muffin.
"Thank you! I've been seriously wanting one of these forever but no one here buys muffins but thanks Aliyah!" She says excited and hugged Aliyah.
Aliyah laughed and hugged back.
After they let go Max mumbled. "I would've gotten you muffins but you insisted we talk about baby names for two hours"
"I heard that and first of all.." she starts.
"We're gonna leave, have fun" I laugh a little and grab Aliyah's hand, walking outside again.
"I swear they argue like an old married couple" I laughed a little as well as Aliyah.
"Yeah" she replied.
I looked around the corner to see Tilly and Ben sleeping on the ground.
I laughed a little as I picked Tilly up.
"I think Tilly's done playing for today" I say as Aliyah picked Ben up.
"Yeah, Same with Ben" she laughed a little.
"So.. about the date" I smiled at her and she smiled back. She nods and kisses me on the cheek. "I'll seeya in an hour" she said before walking across the street and into her house.
