Our First Date

"Where are we going?" I asked for the millionth time as we were driving.
"It's a surprise, Rose!" He said keeping his eyes on the road.
I crossed my arms and stared out the window carelessly.
We passed by houses, buildings, then we came by a forest.
We're going pretty far from home. Where is he taking us?
I was in hard thought until I felt something warm hold my hand. I looked down to see Chanyeol's hand, I looked up to see him smiling while still keeping his eyes on the empty road ahead of him.
I smiled and held him tightly.

"Rose! We're here!"
I opened my eyes to see a smiling Chanyeol in my face.
I adjusted myself and got out of the car. I stretched once I got out but, then stopped when I heard water.
I looked around to see we were at the beach.
I stood there shocked.
"Come on!" Chanyeol yelled as he grabbed my wrist and pulled me to the shore.
The sun was just about setting, it seemed like there wasn't anybody here right now.
We made it near the water when he let go of my wrist. We both took our shoes off.
He stepped into the water and shivered.
"Just saying, it's a bit cold" He shuttered.
I laughed and stepped in.
I immediately jumped out from the coldness touching my bare feet.
"A bit cold!? It's freezing!" I shouted shivering in the warm sand.
He held his hand out for me again.
"Don't worry, I'll be right here" He assured me.
I smiled warmly and took his hand, still shivering.
I stepped back into the freezing water and shivered more.
Chanyeol kept a hold on my waist as he was shivering a bit too.
"You'll get used to it soon," He said smiling as he stepped a little farther into the water with me.
He was right, it started to get a bit warmer.
We were soon jumping over the small waves and laughing together as we swam farther into the water.
I looked to see the sun at its last light until it disappeared under the horizon.
"Why did you take me here in the first place?" I asked relaxing in the water.
"I remembered you told me you liked the beach when we first met each other." He said smiling.
I smiled back as I noticed he went underneath the water. I looked below me but, couldn't see anything.
The next thing I knew was that he was carrying me on his shoulders. I smiled and!laughed as he spun me around in the water.
How can someone be in love this easily?

"Why do we have to leave so soon?" I whined as I pouted and kicked the sand as we got out of the water.
"Because I tomorrow am the music awards and we need to get back home," He said.
I sighed and walked towards the car.
Before we got to the car Chanyeol stopped in his footsteps.
I stopped scrunching my eyebrows confused.
"Why did you st-"
He cut me off before I could say anything more.
"Look up" Was all he said to me.
So I looked up. I saw millions maybe trillions of stars above me. I stood there in awe of the beautiful lit up sky.
I felt Chanyeol grab onto my waist and pull me closer as I looked at him.
