[10]- hargeon town

AN: italic- flashback

"That mission was too easy.." She grumbles at her last job with her group. She was able to defeat a whole group of dark mages by herself.

"You didn't leave any for us!" her orange haired friend whined at her. They were able to tie up the leader and get him to the Magic Council guards. 

A short girl in a black hoodie ate a lollipop until she noticed the busy crowd. She decided to put her black hood up in public, forgetting about her face mask. She deadpans at the loud group. "So much fangirls.. Hate to be that guy attracting them." 

Her eyes recognized one person that had noticeable pink hair. Hanako decides to approach them, knowing that she has nothing to do. 

"Happy, now who the heck is that guy..?"  Natsu glared at that one guy in the middle of the crowd.

"Natsu.."

"What are you doing out here?" He blinked at her.

" I was just passing by. It's a coincidence that I found you here."   

  "How about you? ."  

"We thought Igneel would be here. But we got that fake one instead." She remembered he told her about his dragon parent when they were young. 

"Oh. Hanako!" its as if an idea came to his brain. This can't be good..

"I challenge you to a duel right here, right now!"

"A duel? Seriously?"

"Natsu is always serious!" his cat partner backed him up.

"That's hard to believe. And the duel.. I'll decline for now."

"What???!"

"Uh- Excuse me.." A blonde girl who was our age interrupted us. She was inches taller than me, I noticed some golden keys on her belt. 

"You wanted to fight the salamander-

Natsu and Hanako reacted to her words, the pink haired guy started laughing at her.

"Hah! U think that guy's a Fairy tail wizard?" Happy joined him while laughing

"Hey don't laugh at me! I want to join the guild.." 

"Well.. aren't you lucky? We're all Fairy tail wizards." Happy stated proudly

"Seriously..?" Lucy deadpanned, not believing them. 

"Believe it or not, he's the real salamander." I said bluntly while pointing at him.

"Really? Him..?" I sighed and looked at him.

"Natsu. Show her the guild mark."

He blinked and removed his coat.  It dropped behind him dramatically as it revealed a red fairy tail enigma in his arm.

"No way.." she said, disbelieving. "You two are.. real wizards?! And Fairy Tail wizards too!" tears of joy fell from her face.

"Hey! Don't forget I am one too!" Happy complained.

"That's nice, cat."

"I have the best luck ever! Oh my God! I get to see Mirajane!" I forced a smile. With her loud voice, i'm sure she fits in the guild easily. It's good she doesn't recognize me yet, I made my hair black temporarily.

"Anyway, we're gonna eat somewhere here. You know a good place to eat?"

"Yup! I know where. Leave it to me." she said, excitedly.

"Well.. this saves us so much trouble." I thought, looking at the duo of troublemakers. Natsu and happy.

"Alright. Lead the way. "
