DAGONET had died, I vividly remember watching my brother close in on the Saxon Army, to bury his ax into the ice, sacrificing himself for the protection of my eldest brother Bors, and the young boy Dagonet had begun to care for.Reaching the Wall, we should've been home free, Dagonet to be an uncle, and me to be an aunt, possibly to marry my love and have a family of my own, but we came back with Dagonet's body strapped to a horse. He was a true warrior, he was dauntless, and loyal beyond any means, I always knew one of us wouldn't make it home.
Yet, I truly believed it to be me Dagonet had went in our cousins place to serve the Roman Army, yet that left us with no one to care for myself, I was barely 5 years at the time, Bors and Dagonet brought me to Hadrian's Wall with them to leave me in the care of a woman there, who later became the mother to Bors 11 bastards. I always supposed I was the weakest, I could feel that they all believed me to die first. Yet it had been my beloved brother.
The Wall was mighty, made in stone, it was there to stand the test of time. Glorious, and inside that Wall was hope, the hope that my brother, and his family were finally home free. Although being home free meant close to nothing, the Roman's pulling out of Briton to save their own skin, leaving it for the taking of the Saxon Army.
I held Tristan close in fear for it to be last time, looking over the top of the wall to the Saxons who had set up camp. The last shared embrace meant, we would both fight for our country, Tristan beside Arthur, and myself beside Merlin and Guinevere.
the battle came, and as I lay dying beside Tristan, I watched his hawk fly over his body one last time, feeling my body being lifted I supposed it was Arthur, or Bors, but how wrong I was, as I was sped into the forest to feel the worst pain of my life.
