Chapter Two :) enjoy
Rosie's POV
Nash and Hayes finally left I walked upstairs to see that I had one message from Daniel.
"Hey babe, just letting you know that I'll be over in about 5 minutes, love you"
I smiled to myself excited that Daniel would be coming over. I suddenly, felt like I wanted Hayes instead... wait what?!? No, just fucking no. I have a boyfriend and I can't think that way.
I was interrupted by the door bell ringing, I ran downstairs and opened the door greeted sweetly by my loving boyfriend. I walked out of my house and closer the door, I tippy toed to kiss his soft lips, when I felt someone's presents. I pulled away, once I noticed that Hayes was watching us.
"What's wrong babe"
"Nothing, nothing don't worry about it"
"You sure? Who's that dipshit standing over there? He looks a little pissed"
"Oh, that's Hayes he just moved in next door"
"He better not be fucking around with you, you're mine"
"Don't worry babe, I don't want anyone else but you"
Hayes' POV
To say I was upset was an understatement. I should have known, she was too pretty not to be single. I sighed and walked back into my house. Nash noticed and tried to say something, I just walked up to my room and slammed my door.
Nash walked into my room and sat beside me. I looked at him and layed back down, he put his hand on my shoulder.
"Dude, it's alright, you just met her and I promise she'll be yours one day"
"No she won't, that guy looked like a jock"
"Be positive and never give up"
"Whatever man, I going to sleep I tired as fuck"
*the next day* Still Hayes' POV
I woke up from the loud ringing of my phone. Ugh school, I thought. I was probably going to see Rosie and her boyfriend kissing in the hallways between classes. Great. I finally got up from my bed and got in the shower. I let the warm water run through my skin. It felt so good but I knew I had to get out because I was going to be late. I quickly grabbed Khaki's and a Vans T-shirt, put some cologne on and walked out the door. I decided to stop by Rosie's house to see if she wanted to walk to school with me. I reached her front door and rang the doorbell. I saw her right in front me, smiling.
"Oh hey, whatcha doin' here?"
"Oh, I was asking if you wanted to walk to school with me, cause I'm a little new here"
"Sorry, Daniel is picking me up today, maybe tomorrow?"
"Um, okay" I said in a really irritated voice. "Bye"
I walked away from her house, a little disappointed. I should have known she was going with Daniel. I started to walk to school when I kind of lost my way. Wow, could this day get any better. I tried to find my way somehow, it's pretty hard when you just moved to a new state. I didn't know my way either so I called Nash, thankfully he knew North Carolina better than me. I got my phone out of my pocket and dialed Nash.
"Hey Nash?"
"Hayes?"
"What's up bro, aren't you supposed to be in class right now?"
"Um...yeah about that, I asked Rosie id she wanted to walk to school with me and she said no because she was going with that jock Daniel or whatever his name is. Then I was walking to school and I probably got distracted and lost my way, so I don't know where I am"
I heard a sigh from the other line.
"The things I do for you man, Turn on your 'where is my iPhone' app, I'll find you from that."
(I don't know if it actually does that omg bare with me)
Rosie's POV
I felt bad that I just rejected Hayes, I mean I'd love to walk with him on the first day of school, but Daniel asked me first and I haven't seen him all summer. While I was drowning in thoughts the doorbell rang. I open my door seeing Daniel texting on his phone. My heart kind of dropped when he didn't say 'HI', instead he was probably texting a cheerleader he talks to everyday.
"Hey, you ready?" he said still looking down
"Um...yeah let me just tell my mom I'm leaving", "Bye mom, I'm leaving now"
"BYE SWEETIE, HAVE A GOOD DAY AT SCHOOL TODAY"
We finally arrived at school and Daniel didn't talk to me the whole time we were walking. I was starting to worry that he was cheating on me. Until I brought it up.
"hey babe?"
"Yes, darling?"
"Are you okay today? All you have been doing is texting"
"Yeah, sorry I have to keep in touch with my mom, um she has troubles at home"
"Oh, is she okay?"
"Yeah, she's fine. I have to walk to class now okay? I'll talk to you later" Before he walked away he kissed my cheek and he was off.
I knew he was lying at the point; he looks down when he lies. I guess I just have to figure out whats wrong with him later. Classes went by really slowly but I haven't seen Hayes all day, I wonder where he went.

School was finally over and I wanted to go to Hayes' house to ask Nash if Hayes went to school today. I rang their doorbell and Hayes was in the door frame, his eyes winded and he just stood there like a rock.
"Um? Earth to Hayes?"
"Oh, sorry. What are you doing here after school?"
"I just wanted to see you and ask you a question"
"sure, fire away. But first come in and take a seat"
I sat down on the big shaped "L" couch.
"Why, were you at school?"
He looked at me, then looked down. He looked a little sad or disappointed, I wonder what was up.
"After I went to your house and asked if you want to walk with me, you said no so then I started to walk to school and lost my way. Then I called Nash to pick me up, I didn't want to go to school because there was no point so I stayed home.
