20-The Traitor

The castle was crawling with guards, but the Corans somehow managed to slip by undetected and reached the castle's armory. "We've made it," Yoma said as she opened the door. "Oh yes! My babies! How daddy missed you!," Elvin jumped from Kevin's back and levitated to a pair of shoes. "Why are Elvin's shoes in the armory?," Zai asked out of curiousity. "Try and pick them up," Raisa suggested with a chuckle. "Holy shit these are heavy! Are they made of fucking titanium?," Zai asked as she tried to lift one shoe, but couldn't. "No, only the soles. The fabric work as a kind of limiter for his monstrous strength," Kevin explained. "But won't the titanium soles make noise? I mean they are metal," Andrew asked out of curiosity. "The fabric of the shoes also has a kind of enchantment that negates the sounds of my footsteps. It also negates any kind of noise that I make unintentionally, like my footsteps," Elvin explained. "Interesting, let's go on with the weapon picking. I want to kill Braxtone with my own two hands already!," Christian said impatiently and went ahead.

"Hold on guys, don't pick any of those weapons, I guess it's time we oficially received them," Elvin said as he punched in a combination on a keypad next to a blank wall. "Wait, you mean the rest of the Chaos Stars? Don't we need some kind of ceremony in order to receive those?," Fernando asked unsure if it was right or not to use those weapons. "I mean... the kingdom is under the control of a power hungry tyrant who is using an unkown power source called Zyth Crystals as well. I mean I can call the high priest of Cyzar right now if you want and alert the whole castle of our location if it satisfies your desire. Brian and Chris have already bonded with theirs anyways," Elvin said sarcastically.

"Okay then," Fernando shrugged as the wall slid open, thus revealing six colored stars that were placed in pedestals corresponding to each element. "Once we activate the bonding process, our weapons shall materialize," Yoma explained. "Wait, what about Fabian? He can't go into battle!," Zai realized. "Don't worry, I am a big boy! I can use magic!," Fabian said with pride. "Oh yeah! I almost forgot. Zai and Chris...," Elvin started saying. "Christian," Christian interrupted. "How about I call you idiot instead," Elvin glared at him. Christian fiercely glared back, but was cut off by an annoyed Zai. "Stop it both of you or else I'll smack both of you into oblivion and I do not care if you're a prince or not. Act like adults damn it," Zai scolded both of them.

"Ahem, as I was saying. Before you two can properly use the stars, you must agree to become my Ice and Nature Apostles or else the stars won't react," Elvin explained. "But why did I use the Nature Star if I wasn't an Apostle at the time?," Christian asked suspiciously. "There are two conditions that you must meet in order to use the Chaos Stars: a) Become an Apostle of Chaos, and b) You must have forged a bond with the Guardian of Chaos. Remember, Eto was half of my very being so you were able to use a quarter of its power. So what do you say?," Elvin explained. "Omg yes! I will!," Zai said excitedly and Elvin shifted his gaze at Christian. "Fine whatever. I still do not like you," Christian accepted and sigils suddenly appeared on a part of their bodies . "What the hell?," Zai asked in surprise. "Those are the sigils of Chaos, it means you are the Apostles of your element. Congrats!," Wesley explained. "Can we get on with it?," Kevin asked impatiently. "Fine, go on and take your stars," Elvin commanded and he handed the Fire Star to Raisa. "Oh my lord! I missed this!," Raisa said as she snuggled her Chaos Star. "I wish you would snuggle me like that," Kevin pouted. "Kevin the difference between this Chaos Star and you is that the star actually has a chance with me, unlike you." Raisa shut down Kevin's flirting.

As they all took their stars, they began to glow and transformed into weapons. For the element of Fire, weapons turned out to be the twin pistols named Draco and Wyvern. For Water, a trident called Leviathan. Earth were gauntlets called Terra Vivax. Lightning was a spear which Fernando named Elthir Magnum. Nature had become the ninja blade Orchideum Notte. Light's weapon was a golden bow named Helios Hikarium. The Ice Star revealed Zai's weapon to be a wand which she branded with the name Winter's Song. The Wind's weapon turned out to be a rapier named Ventola Tempesta. Finally, the Darkness Star summoned a scythe called Precornium Mortis. "Woah, these are awesome! I can't believe we actually get to wield these," Licel jumped in excitement. "Didn't we need to transform to be able to summon these?," Raisa asked confused. "They can be summoned just by simply by bonding with the stars," Elvin answered.
