The breeze flew past my face, with a warm mix of cold and hot. It was just perfect. I came here to get rid of the aches from practicing non stop daily when it came to my performances. It was going to be the biggest one I'd ever had, this year, and prior to that day was this vacation. I grinned, taking in the view, and threw the sun hat into the air, letting the wind lift up my long black tresses. I was wearing my favorite two piece that day, that showed off my stardom summer body. The red complimented my pale skin, and the frills continued to adorn my thin shape. Sadly, my height would often get in the way. A few feet from here stood a lifeguard, that'd been eyeing me for quite a bit. I thought he was more than creepy, tilting down my sunglasses to get a good look at 'em. "Ew~"i shuddered, turning over to get my cell phone out of my pocket scrolling through my instagram to make a new post.

Within seconds of posting it the comments sections began to flood to the hundreds then the thousands. Being loved by everyone sure did feel amazing. I flipped my hair, placing my glasses onto the towel behind me, and walked over to the shore, when a loud obnoxious whistle stung my ear drums. "What the actual fuck!" I turn around to the Lifeguard, who's faux spray on tan caused me to choke. And he wasn't even spraying it then! "What's the big deal?" "Underage children, are not permitted to cross this section of the ocean? I suggest you go around the other side." I frown. 'Who the hell does he think he is?' I yell "I'm Scar fucking Greyson!", pointing both middle fingers straight up into his face, before being pulled to the side by my best friend Ellie. "Goddamit, don't start that right now!" "Who gives a damn? This is a day that we chill and forget that the rest of the world exists." I say, smiling at her, as Ellie looks back at the Lifeguard who looked ready to throw the megaphone at my head. Hell no! "You best not be standing up!" i say, reaching for a rock near the sand. Ellie pulls me up by the arm, forcing me away to stop me from causing any more drama. "Let's just get wet." "That's what she said." She deadpanned, smacking herself up on the head. We both entered the water, taking more pictures than swimming. To be honest, I came here for a reason...and I brought Ellie along because this is one of the most terrifying days I've ever had. Sure, being a Professional trainee figure skater is amazing...but actually fucking having the opportunity to play in the Olympics? That's a big deal, and I don't want to mess it up.

This is the day before all that hard training finally pays off. I'm gonna make it, and prove to my family...that I'm not just someone who washed up on the shore. I'm the sun, and I shine brighter then anyone has ever seen. "Hey, Scar!" Ellie called me over, as I was taking pictures of the horizon's aesthetic. It was natural beauty. "What's up?" I asked her, putting the photos in my art gallery. She gave me a cheeky grin, and stepped a few feet back towards the shore. "How about you and me go and ride some waves? For good luck." "Why? I'm not scared, and I don't need luck." i tell her. She just rolls her eyes, slamming her hands into the water so it splashed me in the face. "Wake up, no one knows you better than I do. And what you need right now, is too shed you're stress right? So let's get that adrenaline flowing, and own that you have nothing to fear."

Before I could even reject her, Ellie'd already had her mind set on getting those surfboards. I can't believe how lucky I am to have her, even if it's just us against the world. I exit the water, feeling the weight of gravity pull me back onto the surface. I sit down on the towel hugging my legs close to my upper frame. Resting my head onto my knees, I look at the pink orange and purple colors start to shadow over the sandy landscape and fill me with utter inspiration. It was a good thing that I came here. Otherwise i wouldn't be able to capture this image, in my own eyes. I look behind me to find my khaki beach tote beside me, rummaging through its contents. I find the drawing tablet i'd brought with me, which cost me almost a fortune. Opening up photoshop sketch, I use the plethora of colors from my favorites palette and, begin to color the canvas, emphasizing the sun's light white color at its purest form. The dagi stylus, I used helped make the details more focused and precise, and I've already got the perfect lay out. About thirty minutes later, I'd have the first layer of colors addressed to each area to form a 2d formatting of what the beach looked like, and need another thirty to envision it as if it were real.

Like i could hold the beach in my hands. But someone rushed up behind me, knocking me upside the head when i dropped the tablet before getting to save my work. I was so pissed.

"What the hell is your pro-

When I turned around there stood a scared Ellie. "Oh my gosh!" She'd hit be with the surfboard under her left by mistake. Dropping them both onto the ground, she tried to apologize. "I am soo sorry, Scar. I didn't-- Oh my god!" I couldn't get mad at her, because she was Ellie of course. But sometimes, things change. And when she spouted the words Oh my god, pointing me to the direction of the ocean pulling in my tablet. R.I.P.
