Skyler's POV

"Maverick, answer the goddamn phone." I hissed while I rush towards the crime scene. I received a call from the police that a dead body was found just minutes after I arrived at home. The medics are with me together with other policemen. I called him again but same as the previous one Maverick didn't answer.

When I arrived, some policemen already secured the area and asked questions from the witnesses. The moment I came they approached me and immediately reported.

"The dead body of the boy was found less than an hour ago. The witness," The policeman pointed the witness beside him. "found the body floating."

I shift my attention to the witness.

"Can you explain how you found the body Mr...?" I asked, waiting for his name.

"Mr. Kang, Kang Ji Wook" He answered politely.

"Yes, Mr. Kang. How did you found the body?" I continued to ask.

"I did some inventory count together with my other co-workers and checked on the container vans to be shipped. Since I'm the one on the last shift so I'm the last to leave the warehouse. That's when I saw the body floating. At first, I thought it's just some plastic materials but when I looked closer it's a boy's body."

The policeman have been taking notes while I just listen to him carefully.

"How long have you been working here?" I asked more.

The witness answered immediately. I heard my name but I didn't answer because I'm busy listening to the wintess' statement. He continued to explain when his looking behind me. I suddenly felt a tap on my shoulder.

Can't you just wait?

"I'm still talking with-" Too much irritation that I looked behind me but I suddenly shocked when it's Sehun behind me.

"Sehun?! What the hell are you doing in here?!" Unconciously, I feel mad. I grabbed his arm and drag him away.

"I followed you." He answered.

"What do you mean follow?!" I asked madly.

"I saw you so I followed-"

"You're not supposed to be here!" I exclaimed. I've been keeping you away from this matters.

"Agent Skyler! I need you here!" The policeman shouted. With no choice I left Sehun.

"Just stay there." I commanded.

I rushed towards them. They're now taking pictures and then moved the body to the stretcher.

"Bring the body to the headquarters. I'm expecting a report from the Forensic Team in the morning. " I ordered them.

"Yes Agent Sky." They nod and brought the body in the ambulance. I saw Sehun standing near the crime scene. I can see in his eyes that he's shocked on what he saw. I rushed towards him and drag him away.

"How did you came here?!"

He didn't answer and just stare at where the dead body used to lay.

"He's dead." He whispered.

I sighed. "Yes, the boy is dead. Now tell me how did you came here!"
