DAUNTLESS

Riley's POV

I'm in the window watching the humans fight. I on the other hand, have to wait to fight. Finally, I hear, “Riley Hale to training area" and that's my cue to get training. I move to the training area and. I fight this guy named Edward, who was surprisingly weak as a human. So I took him and flipped him in two seconds and everyone looked at me with an aw on their faces. Edward fractured his rib and his arm that I grabbed. I look at everyone else and I left to my room again. “Why are they staring at me?" I say to myself. I turn myself away from the door even when someone knocked. “Hello?" this boy who had what it looked like one tattoo on his back. “I just wanted to ask you how did you do that, I mean it was fairly quick and strong. Who are you exactly?" He asked. “Um, you know I've been trained by my family" I lied to him. I can't risk anyone knowing my secret. “I'm Riley Hale, who are you?" I asked him. “I'm Tobias, one of the trainers in Dauntless." I look at him. He's cute! I say in my head. I smile at him and act all innocent. “What are you? are you human because you're pale and you're freezing cold" He asked. “Well, I am not human. I am a vampire" He just stood there in shock and then he came through.“Oh that's cool, what do you eat?" “You aren't mad or scared or anything?" I asked.  Tobias just laughed. “No, I'm amused that you are able to hide your secret for so long".  “My diet is Human blood, if there's animals around, then I'm willing to hunt them. But since there isn't, I drink human blood" I say and Tobias turned white. “You scared?"  I say. “A bit. Why?"Tobias said. “Because I'm gonna have to turn you into a vampire" I told him and  I bite him. He screams in pain and I whisper in his ear. Welcome to the Army.
