***Second POV***

You sat in your usual desk as you finished up the last of your paperwork at the white collar devision.
"Hey. You wanna head back to my place for dinner?" The usual friendly Neal Caffrey asked as he leaned against your desk.
You always thought of him as your cute, friend, brother, criminal, thing.
"I have my own place thanks" you hesitated a bit at refusing his offer.
"Come on. It's just one dinner. Not like I'm gonna kill you."
"Uh... Now that you say that I'm a bit worried."
He smirked. "I won't kill you. Promise."
"Fine. I'll only eat with you IF you let me wear your hat for a week.
"Making a deal with a con man? Risky move." He smirked.
"Yes or no?" You smirked back.
"yes." he smiled and put his hat on your head.
You smirked and ran your fingers across the brim of his hat which was now on your head. "Lemme finish up some paper work first... I know where you live." You said the second part as you pulled the hat over your eyes to add a dramatic effect.
"Oh yeeeaaahhh. Remember that time where you almost shot mozz?" he laughed.
"He was just sitting in your apartment drinking wine! I didn't know him then. Plus I would've only shot him in the leg." You defended your self.
"It's alright. I'm joking with you. See you later tonight" he smiled and walked out of the division as you resumed the last of your paper work for the night.
***
About an hour later you grabbed your coat and bag of files and set off for Caffery's house.
When you arrived a nice lady who remembered as June greeted you and led you to Caffrey's room.
"Thanks, June." Caffrey smiled as he opened the door. June smiled back and walked back down stairs.
"Come on in." Caffrey opened the door to his place, which was much nicer than yours, as you walked in.
"Wow." you looked at the table with nicely cooked food and candles on it.
"Have a seat," he said as he pulled out a chair at the table.
"Thanks." you sat dumbfounded by Caffrey's charming gestures. Caffrey sat as well and you both started eating making small talk about the cases you've worked on together and the ones where you worked against each other. It all seemed like a normal night between two friends, well, except the candles.
You had insisted on helping clean up by washing the dishes. While you were standing at the sink, washing,
lightning struck outside causing you both to jump.
"Wh-" you looked out a widow to see the down pour that was going in out side.
You might have to stay the night.
