7. Perfect Crime

- CONTINUES ALICE'S PERSPECTIVE -

When I woke up, Duff wasn't next to me. I walked to the kitchen, and there he was, cooking breakfast while singing a song. 

Alice: Hi Duff!

Duff: Hi Alice, you ruined the surprise I was preparing! (*laughs*)

Alice: (*laughs*), thanks for making breakfast, Duff.

Duff: (*laughs*), it's nothing, come and sit here. 

Alice: Thanks! 

Duff & I finished breakfast, but there was time left until my friends from the band arrived, so we decided to take a walk again. Duff was smoking a cigarette, like always.

Alice: Mr. Giraffe (*laughs*), how much do you smoke per day?

Duff: Just a little bit (*laughs*) 

Alice: You don't seem to just smoke a little bit huh? (*laughs*)

Duff: Come on, doesn't matter Alice, do you want to try it? 

Alice: I haven't smoked for a long time, but if it's just for now it won't hurt me 

Duff placed his cigarette in my mouth and he took another one. He starting making jokes again and I couldn't stop laughing. We sat on the bench of the last night:

Alice: So....what happened last night? 

Duff: Why you ask me? You already know. 

Alice: Why did you do it?

Duff: You know what? I'm more into blond girls (*laughs a little bit*)

Alice: Well, I'm not blond and you started kissing me last night (*laughs*)

Duff: Yes, true (*laughs*)

Alice: You didn't answer the question Duff

Duff: It could be because I don't even know the answer! 

- DUFF'S PERSPECTIVE - 

I really don't know what happened to me that night...but then it became unstoppable, and I couldn't stop looking and talking with her. I wanted more, but I knew Alice wouldn't like it. 

Then it was time, we had to go to the studio with my band mates and wait for Alice's. We went back, and saw them: 

Axl: Hey, where have you been guys?

Slash: Yeah Duff, I saw you walking away from Andromeda's bus last night (*laughs*)

Alice: Yeah, okay....so, where are the other guys?

Axl: Steven and Izzy? (*laughs*), they are with 2 girls 

Alice: Their girlfriends? 

Slash: Nah, some fans they met at the pub. 

Alice: oh, so they are.....

Axl: Yes (*laughs*) we always do that. 

- ALICE'S PERSPECTIVE -

When Axl said that, I started thinking about Duff...I was starting to like him so much, but I forgot that little thing. I was going to say something when my friends appeared. While we were getting our instruments, my friends started laughing and said:

Toby: What did you do last night, Alice? 

Lena: Yes....Duff Mckagan huh? (*laughs*)

Alice: It was nothing you idiots, we just took a walk, had dinner and then I had to sleep in his house. He was going to drive me back home but the car had a battery failure and didn't work.

Tom: Wohooo! Guys, you heard that? Sleeping in his house, anything else Alice? (*laughs*)

Alice: Guys, you're being so silly! He's a great guy. 

Jane: So you like him or what?

Alice: It doesn't matter if I like him or not okay?

Toby: Alice, we are saying this for your own good. If you remember, this guys take drugs and go with thousands of girls mostly every day, this includes your prince Duff Mckagan. If you start being his girlfriend, he will cheat on you with all his fans, and also, do you want to have a boyfriend who takes drugs? I think you don't huh?

Alice: He's not like that okay? 

Jane: Look Alice, this is just an advice, we're not going to tell you what to do with your life, that's why it's yours. We dont want you to get hurt for that guy, that's all okay? If you want to, you can keep dreaming. 

Alice: You don't even know him! 

Slash: Hey guys we're ready, is anything wrong?

Lena: No, everything is ok. 

Slash: Well, come on, let's go and practice!

We practiced until it was lunch time. I couldn't stop thinking about what my friends said, but then I looked at Duff and I couldn't stop putting my eyes on him, it was very complicated. In a few weeks we were going to start touring. On tour there would be lots of groupies, drugs and probably problems, so I decided to continue flirting with Duff like I did before and starting testing him on tour; the problem was that Duff and I weren't boyfriends yet, we were just flirting and playing little games all the time...
