KALANI
When we got home Louis was helping Lyric while Harry and I cuddled on the couch. I've become really close to him lately. I mean, I'm not complaining because he's a great guy but when ever I get close to someone they stab me in the back. Sometimes literally. "Hey,do you wanna go somewhere?" I heard Harry ask. "Where?" "I was thinking my mums. I haven't seen her in awhile and she's been bugging me about meeting you." "Your mum knows about me?" I asked suddenly nervous. "Not the hybrid part. Just that I saved you when you really needed saving." He reassured me. I thought about it then said"Sure." He smiled and said"Well come on. Put some shoes and a coat on." I got up, put shoes and a coat on then told Louis and Lyric where we were going since Harry obviously wasn't going to. It was a quiet drive until Harry decided it was a good idea to start singing really loudly. "Jesus Harry! Give me a heart attack why don't you!?" I yelled. "Sorry. It was to quiet." "It hurt my ears from the loudness." I whispered,not wanted to make him feel bad but he heard me. "You okay? I didn't mean to hurt you." He said with worry and guilt evident in his voice. "I'm fine but next time can you warn me before you do that?" "Of course. Sorry." "It's fine. Now are we almost there?" "Yeah. A street away actually.' I sighed happily. As soon as the car stopped I got out and waited for Harry. "Hurry up." I whined like a little kid. he chuckled and said"I'm coming. I'm coming." I had to be immature and whisper"That's what he said." I started giggling until he looked at me weird. We went up to the door and he opened it. A woman older than Harry, but was beautiful pulled him into a hug. "Hi Mum." He said while hugging back. I stood there awkwardly until they pulled apart. "Mum, this is Kalani. Kalani, this is my mum." He said smiling. "Hi Mrs. Styles." I said shyly. "Its Mrs. Cox but please, call me Anne." She said smiling. I smiled back then followed Harry. Anne and I talked while Harry just kinda stood there watching. That night we were on the couch when I saw a cat walk in and over to me. "Oh! That's Dusty." Anne said. I smiled and reached down to pet him. When I did he jumped up on my lap and purred while cuddling into me. "That's odd. he never does that to anyone. Only other cats." Anne said. I nervously smiled and Harry just kinda sat there. "Harry, he can tell I'm part cat." I whispered when Anne went into the kitchen. "I think my mum can tell something's up. Why don't we just tell her? She'll accept you." He whispered back. I sighed but agreed. So as soon as she came back in the room I looked at her and said"Anne, I need to tell you something. You may not believe me but hear me out." She smiled as if telling me to go on. "I'm a cat hybrid." She looked at me then at Harry with a confused look on her face. I took my beanie off to show her my ears. "I hope this doesn't change your opinion about me. I'm just like you with something extra." "I think it's perfectly fine. You're an amazing young woman and I find the ears cute." I smiled and looked at Harry. He smiled and pulled me in for a hug. i hugged him back a little tighter. We decided to stay the night since it started raining and Harry didn't want to drive home in the rain and dark. "We have to share a room. Gemma won't let anyone in her room and we have no guest rooms." He said. "It's fine. But,can I borrow some clothes?" He handed me a t shirt and pajama pants and let me change in the bathroom. When I was done I went back into the bedroom to see Harry on the bed in pajama pants with the TV on. I crawled onto the bed and lied down. After watching TV for a little bit Harry shut it off and lied down next to me. He pulled the covers over us and wrapped his arm around my waist. I cuddled into him and fell asleep. But not before I heard him whisper"Good night Kalani. I-I think I love you."
HARRY
Kalani cuddled into me and I whispered that I think I love her. I hope she didn't hear me. If she did, tomorrow's going to be slightly awkaward. The next morning I noticed Kalani wasn't in bed. I got up,stretched,then went donwstairs. I saw Kalani and Mum making breakfast and talking in the kitchen. "Good morning Baby." Mum said when she turned around. "Morning Mum. Mornign Kalani." I said. "Morning." Kalani said. After we ate breakfast I heard the front door open then saw Gemma come in. "Harry!" She shouted while hugging me when she saw me. "Hi Gem." I replied,hugging back. "Who's this?" She asked when she noticed Kalani. "This is Kalani. Kalani, this is my sister Gemma." They smiled at each other then I realized Kalani wasn't wearing a hat or anything so you could see her ears. "Oh! Nice ears by the way." Gemma said before going upstairs. That afternoon Kalani and I went home. "Did you, I don't know, hear anything I said last night?" I asked. "Yeah. You said good night and that you might love me." "Oh. You weren't meant to hear that." I grew quiet and slightly embarrassed. "Well, if it helps any, I think I love you too." She said smiling. I smiled back then looked back at the road. When we got home Louis was playing with Sadie while Lyric fed Greyson. "He Haz, hey Kalani." He said when he saw us walk in. "Hi." I said, sitting next to him. I looked at Sadie and smiled. I've always wanted a baby. I saw Kalani go help Lyric upstairs so I said"I think I love Kalani." He looked at me and smiled. "I could tell." He told me. "What do you mean?" "Haz, I'm your best friend. I know when you like someone and by the looks of it, you love Kalani." "Yeah well I think you like Lyric." "That my friend, is correct. I liked her when I first met her. That's why I brought her home. The only thing was that I couldn't seem to find her. Now that she's here and brought me this little girl and her brother I'm making sure she never leaves." I smiled and said"Good. Now, give me my god child." "Who said you were her god father?" I looked at him like he was stupid and said"Louis, I'm your best friend. We agreed that I'm your kid or kids god father and your mine. Plus we are each others best man." "True." He said handing me Sadie. "Hi Princess. I'm your Uncle Harry and I'm going to be your favorite. But sh. Don't tell your other uncles." I said then kissed her head softly. A little while later we were eating dinner when Kalani had tears in her eyes and couldn't move. I carried her to my room carefully and lied her down. "Are you okay?" I asked. "Yeah. My lower back ahs been hurting lately and I don't know why." "Want me to check?" She nodded shyly so I lifted her shirt up lightly and gasped. "Uh, there's a brown stub." I said. "What?" She asked confused. I took a picture and showed it to her. "Oh my god. It's a tail. I'm growing a freaking tail! Great! Just great!" She shouted but not loud enough for Lyic and Louis to hear. "Hey, it's okay. It just adds to your uniqueness." "I hate it. Now I'm going to have to hide a tail along with ears." "I think it's adorable." "Really?" "Yeah. You're cuddly like a kitten and now you have a fluffy tail along with fluffy ears." She blushed and said "Thanks." "No problem Love. Now, do you want to go finish eating or watch a movie?" "Dinner. I'm starving. Then a movie." I nodded and helped her up. When wegot back into the kitchen Lyric and Louis sitting there eating still. After dinner Kalani and I went up to my room to watch The Notebook. Totally her choice...
