Chapter 7
When Theo gets home, he can tell something is wrong.
"Tell me," he says.
And so I do.
We sit in silence for a while, not speaking, until he speaks up.
"I should find him and talk to him," he says, and gets up from his chair.
"Theo! Don't!" I yell, blocking his path. He picks me up and moves me out of the way.
"No one kisses you except for me," he says sternly. I cringe and back up, then sigh in defeat.
"Fine," I manage to say.
His face softens and he looks at me sympathetically.
"I love you," he says, pecking me on the lips. Before I know it, he's out the door.
