The Forbidden Love...

~Part Three~

"Oww!" I yelp every time Epona jumps over a fallen tree log, or fence line, to get to Hyrule. Navi of course, was just focused on getting to Princess Zelda, not worrying about the pain I was in.

"You know Link, you seem to be sort of.., I don't know..., out of it I guess? Did something happen? I do remember you mentioning Dark Link doing som..."

"Nothing! It was nothing... plus I'm fine Navi! Aside from the pain, I'm fine." I quickly interrupt Navi mid-sentence.

I do know that it's the right thing to tell her what happened, but I'm not physically or emotionally ready for it. I could get laughed at, scolded at, who knows?

"Link! There is Hyrule Castle!" Navi yells flying around my head as we get closer through the field. I looked up and clearly saw the huge castle through the mountains and villages.

"Hurry, hurry! Princess Zelda awaits to hear your failure!" Navi chants as we glide through the mountain paths and villages.

"Shut-up Navi! I tried my.. Ow!" I tried to stop Navi from chanting the silly sayings, but I quickly stopped when Epona pounced me a little. I had one arm around my wound and the other on her lead.

"Haha! I have never seen you in so much pain Link!" Navi wouldn't stop taunting me as we got closer to the castle, making me want to flick here away, but I need her after all.

As we got to the castle doors, they slowly lowered the drawbridge for us to get through. Sanding there was Princess Zelda, with a huge smile on her face.

"Welcome back Link, I trust you have wonderful news for me? Oh my, your hurt! Come with me, let's get you patched up and you can tell me what happened on the way!" Zelda takes my free hand an quickly hurries to the nearest castle doctor she could find.

When we got to one, they quickly hurried me to a room with a small bed and medical supplies, very high quality to. They patched up the huge gash and I was asked to rest on the bed provided for at least a few hours before going somewhere.

"So, how did things with Dark Link go?" Zelda asked as she helped me sit down on the bed.

"He lost! Can you believe that?! I saw him on the ground as he left, and he stood up quickly to cover it, pathetic right?!" Navi said flying around Zelda's head and landing on her shoulder.

"Link.. What happened with you and Dark Link? This isn't like you..."

I looked down, if I told her, how would she act? Would she be mad, sad, or angry? Then again it's not my fault it happened.

My teeth clench and I look up. "He... Dark link and I fought like normal, but he did something... different."

"How so?" Zelda's eyebrow raises as the looks at me in confusion. I felt my face burn as I was getting ready to talk.

"He kissed me."
