This YouTube video inspires this story. I have no idea what this young man's name is or his Marine brother. (My hearing isn't the greatest to catch it.) I loved the love that is evident between these 2, hence this story was born instead of basketball, the sport is football. 😊😊😊
"O'Brien Clan! Breakfast is ready!" Aideen a.k.a. Mama hollers from the kitchen.
Let me introduce you to the O'Brien Clan.
There's Aideen, Mama, she's married to our Mom, Ailba. Mama and Mom were married on October 31, 2014 when Wyoming (where we live) legalized LGBTQ marriages. Mama and Mom were born and raised in Dublin, Ireland and moved all seven of us kids here three years ago. Mama is the Gym teacher at our high school and Mom is a Mortician.
Liam is my oldest brother, he's 19 years old and has been a United States Marine for a year now and is currently deployed in Iraq. Liam was adopted when he was 4 years old. Straight as an arrow.
Then there's me and my twin brother, Lochlan. I'm Lollan, pronounced Ul-An. Loch and I are 17 years old. we were adopted at 2 years old. Loch is bisexual and is on the basketball and soccer teams every year since our Freshman year. I'm gay and the co-captain of the football and baseball teams.
Then there's Aileen and Ailish, who are 16 year old twins. They were adopted at the age of 9 and both are lesbians. Aileen is on the soccer and softball teams. Aideen is on the soccer and volleyball teams.
Last but not least are Darcy and Daireann, who are 15 year old twins and were adopted at birth. Darcy is bisexual and is on the softball and volleyball teams. Daireann is lesbian and is on the soccer and vollyball teams.
Darcy, Daireann, Liam, Lochlan and myself are all biological siblings. After Darcy and Daireann were born my mother died in child birth and our father put us up for adoption because he felt he couldn't care for us. Aileen and Ailish's parents were drugies and alcoholics, who used to beat them until they were taken away at the age of 8.
So on with the story.
We sit around the breakfast table before school discussing the day ahead. Lochlan, Aileen, Ailish and Daireann have soccer practice, I have football practice and Darcy has cheerleading pratice. Mama is taking all of us to school after breakfast. We have practice from 3 p.m. when school ends until 6 p.m. Mama stays after school and runs the Yearbook and Photography Clubs. Mom and us usually arrive home about the same time.
**Skipping the car ride to school**
"Bye, love you all," Mama says as we all head to our lockers and she heads to her office by the gym.
"Bye Mama, love you, too," we say walking off. Mine and Lochlan's lockers are next to each other in the Senior hallway. Aileen and Ailish' s lockers are next to each other in the Junior hallway. Darcy and Daireann share a locker in the Sophomore hallway. Lochlan stoppes halfway down the hallway to talk to his friends.
"Hey faggot," I hear before I'm slammed into my locker by none other than my bully, West Harrison. The ironic thing about this situation is all of us O'Brien kids don't hide our sexuality but I'm the only one that's harassed about it.
I turn around to look West in the eye with a glare. "Go to hell, West." I turn back around only to be shoved inside my locker no matter how much I struggle against him.
Before West could shut the locker door on me, he's suddenly yanked away and thrown against the lockers opposite the one I'm in. I climb out to see the hottest guy standing by me, along with Lochlan two of his friends and I'm assuming two of the hot guys friends.
