I turn around to my surprise to see Vladimir standing behind me with a surprised look on his face.

I grin at him. "Yup, I'm the Tailback for the team."

"Big Red!" I hear Gloria scream down the hallway. I turn with a smile just in time to catch her as she jumps into my arms. I giggle at her as she wraps her arms and legs around me.

"Hi Little Woman," I say as I set her down.

"Can I wear your jersey today?"

"No," I say laughing at her pout. "But you can wear my Away Jersey," I tell her getting into my locker getting it out for her. This is our conversation every Friday during football season. I see Vladimir grin at us from the corner of my eye as I help Gloria put on my Away Jersey.

"Mind if I come to the game tonight with my friends," Vladimir asks.

I smile and bounce happily. "Of course not! The more the merrier!"

**Time skip to 20 minutes before the start of the football game.**

My teammates and I are in the locker room with with coach. Coach is speaking to us before we head out to the field.

We're outside of the field waiting for the game to start after warming up. As we're called out onto the field as we're individually announced I hear my family, and Glorua scream from the bleachers and my sister from the cheer squad. I turn towards them as I take my place on the sideline so they know I heard them. I think I even heard Vladimir but I'm not sure. I think he's even sitting by my family.

How do I know where my family is sitting you ask. They're not hard to miss. The six of them are sitting together; three on the bottom bleacher and the other three are on the bleacher behind those three; they're all redheads wearing the school colors of black and red.

I forgot to mention earlier, we live in Cheyenne, Wyoming. We attend Cheyenne Central High School and our mascot is an Indian. I'm currently wearing my red jersey from above and Gloria is wearing my black Away Jersey. (I found this pics from above on the internet so I'm hoping these are correct for the school).

*Time skip to the end of the game.*

We beat the other team 77 to 14. There's an after party at Ryan's house, yes bestie Ryan, is also on the football team. I'm riding with Ryan back to his house and staying the night. Yes, Mama and Mom know what I'm doing. Ryan and I find Mama and Mom and the rest of the family and Gloria outside the football field before leaving. Ryan's parents rarely come to games, tonight they were a no show again.

I hug Darcy and tell her "You did well tonight." She smiles and thanks me.

"Be home tomorrow by 10 a.m., okay?" Mama says.

"I will be, Mama, I promise." Her and Mom nod as they head out with my siblings.

I turn to find Ryan and see Gloria talking to him but I also notice Vladimir, Sloan and Ivan standing a few feet behind them and they're talking to a few students and I notice Vladimir staring at me. Smiling at him I head over to Ryan and Gloria.

"Hey, I'll wash and give you your jersey back to you on Monday."

I smile at her. "Sure." Gloria hugs Ryan and then hugs me a little longer than normal. I pull back from her a little. "What's wrong, little woman?" I can still see Vladimir staring at us.

"I don't want to go home, can I go home with you, Big red?"

"I'm going to Ryan's tonight." Her hopeful look falls. Gloria's parents like to fight and when it gets to much for her to deal with she spends some time at my house.
