(That same day)

Millie had been at a starbucks table for about an hour and half. She had busied herself with people watching, but boredom was slowly taking over.

Her anxieties of being forgotten were starting to come. She feared Caleb forgot to come and get her. She felt as if he would never, ever come for her. She would be stranded at that Starbucks forever alone.

She convinced herself it would be impossible for him to forget to get here. She was excited to see him. She wondered if he was bringing Finn. That thought made her smile, she couldn't contain herself knowing she would be reunited with Finn soon. Well, she didn't know for sure, but she hoped she would soon.

Millie's chin rested on her hands. She started to get sleepy. She had to fight to stay awake.

Before she knew it, she fell asleep.

•••

Millie's eyes shot open when she felt someone shaking her.

"Oh, I'm sorry I fell asleep, I'm okay," Millie said as she yawned.

She turned around to see who had woken her up. Her eyes widened.

"Caleb!" Millie yelled. She threw herself on him. She tightly wrapped her arms around him. Her eyes began filling with tears.

"I've missed you so much," Millie sniffled.

"You too," Caleb smiled.

"You look so different," Millie laughed as she wiped a tear from her cheek.

"I can say the same thing to you," Caleb laughed.

"Please, can we go? I need to get out of Greendale," Millie said.

"Yea, that's probably best," Caleb said.

Millie followed out of the starbucks. She was surprised when she saw his car. It was an old blue pickup truck. With they money the boys had, she was surprised he didn't but a nicer car.

They both got in. Millie was silent until they started driving.

"I am so happy to see you," Millie laughed.

"Where have you been?" Caleb asked.

"I have been in a home for children that are supposedly to be picked up by there guardians soon. They told me day 20 my god parent would be there soon. We had to wear uniforms," Millie pointed at her outfit, "I made three good friends, it was kinda hard leaving them today."

"Woah," Caleb whispered.

"It's been 352 days," Millie laughed.

"You kept count?" Caleb laughed.

"I had nothing better to do," Millie chuckled.

Millie felt relieved as she say them exiting Greendale.

"Um Caleb," Millie said.

"What?"

"How is... Finn?"

"I was just counting the minutes for how long it would take you to ask," Caleb chuckled, "But he is... okay."

"What do you mean?"

"He doesn't know I've spoken to you."

"What? Why?" Millie furrowed her eyebrows, she became frustrated.

"Without you, Millie, he seem to make sense. He became really, really unstable. He was so in love with you."

"Was?" Millie's heart sank.

"I don't know how he feels know. He's depressed and quiet. He doesn't talk about you or anything anymore. He was so mad when you got taken away, he got into a bad physical fight with Noah."

A tear ran down Millie's cheek.

"Don't cry," Caleb looked over at her.

"I can't help it. I love him so much, you don't know how hurt I was to be taken away from him," Millie sniffled.

"I know, but imagine, you will see him soon," Caleb tried to cheer her up.

"I will?" Millie looked over at him.

"Yes, tomorrow. Tonight you should just situate yourself."

"Where do you guys live now?" Millie asked curiously.

"We live in an apartment, it's a lot nicer than the barn. It's exactly like how we explained it to you before, remember? We each have our own room, but you will have to share with Finn now," Caleb laughed.

"Wait, if I'm going to the apartment tonight won't I see Finn?"

"No, probably not, he's going to be drunk so I think it's probably save if you sleep in my bed and I sleep on couch," Caleb said.

"What about the other boys?"

"You will see them tomorrow as well," Caleb laughed.

Millie laughed back. Her laugh was forced. She feared Finn didn't love her anymore, it terrified her.

The worse feeling ever is when someone use to love you, and now you think they don't anymore. It's makes you want to die when you find out they fallen for someone else.

Millie propped her head on her hand as she stared out the window. Her eyes slowly shut, she drifted into a sleep.
