I walked away three years ago, walked away from my old life, from the ghosts of the one i had killed. I had to wolf under control now,for the most part. Every day of my life i went thew the pain of losing the ones i loved, losing Dylan to the wolf. my feet hit the dirt caked trail leading thew the wood to my house, the house that i had gotten the wolf under control. I sighed the wind pushed my brown hair to the sides of my head. My hair (if you read the first book) was black, i hadn't dyed it in years for the fear of someone recognising me. Someone from my old life. I hadn't seen Jordan in years, she promised her revenge. Yet she hasn't come thew.

my feet hit the wooden deck of my home, the home that no ones visits, well no one exept Izzy. i sighed and sat down on an old cusioned chair i closed my eyes and tilted my head back, the sun beamed on my face.

"Hi Alex." i head Izzy's small voice, then i heard her footsteps, the wolf growled i pushed it back.

"Hey Izzy!" i greeted smiling.

"I brought you food..." she opened her little basket, inside was a perfectly made lunch,

it had a cheese sandwhich, with hand cut tomatoes, it had freshly killed and cooked turky breast. she had a pile of little berries thats she must have picked on the way over her, there were also corn muffins. i picked up a corn muffin,

“Wow Izzy it's still warm!” i smiled and gave her a shocked face.

“Yeah! they just came out of the oven! i also made the butter on them!” she smiled, she was missing her two front teeth.

“Izzy! you lost your teeth! did someone punch you?” i joked giving her a wink, she giggled at me.

“No they came out all by their self! Brother said the tooth fairy will come and give me money tonight!” he eyes twinkled.

“Brother?” i asked looking at her up and down.

“Yeah! Brother Drake!” she smiled, i laughed.

“Well Izzy... lets not let this perfectly made food go to waist! Lets eat! come on.” i smiled placing the corn muffin back in the basket, and gently took it from her.

We started walking to the spot we always have lunch at, i felt Izzy grab my hand. i looked down and smiled.

“were here!” i smiled laying down a small picnic blanket and set down the basket. “well Izzy....” i smiled knowing she was going to finish my sentence.

“Lets eat!” she chirped smiling.

we passed out the food, both the same amount and we ate. Izzy's cooking was great for a little nine year old. we laughed as we ate and she told me about the latest new in town.

“Alex, why do you never go to town?” she asked staring at me with her brown eyes.

“Izzy... I’m... I’m not good with people...” was all i answered, she didn't need to know she was visiting a werewolf that had killed a whole town of people.

“But why? I’m not either and look at me, I’m fine!” she smiled still staring at me.

“I just had some bad experiences a little while ago and that's all you need to know, k?” i smiled at her.

“Fine.” she let her lip pout out, i smiled and laughed. We finished our food and continued talking, Izzy looked up at the sky.

“Alex i left my watch at home, i better be off, i don't want brother do be mad at me.” she replied, i stood up and took her hand, helping her up.

“Alrighty then, i don't want you to get into trouble.” i smiled picking up all the rest of the stuff and putting them in her basket.

“K! well i'll see you tomorrow Alex!” she hugged me and my green cloak engulfed around her, i leaned down and hugged her back. She pulled away smiling.

“What was that for?” i asked smiling, that was the first hug i had had in years.

“That's what friends do!” she chirped, i saw goosebumps on her arms.

“Izzy are you cold?” i asked.

“No...” she stuttered. i smiled, taking my green cloak i wrapped it around her shoulders.

“There you go. see you tomorrow.” i smiled. she started skipping away.

“Bye! i'll bring your cloak back!!!!” she yelled. i smiled.

“Keep it! its yours now!!” i yelled back, she smiled and ran the rest of the way to her house.
