Chapter Three

After the incident with Izzy i decided it was time to go into town. My whole life i had lived here she had brought me food and taken care of me.

“Its time I get on my feet... Time to start over.” I mumbled to myself.

Why start over? We can kill, do the same things we did to Jake... Come on Alex, Just one more time... The wolf spoke to me.

“Shut up!” I grabbed my head and shut my eyes tight.

“Alex?” I heard Izzys sweet voice.

Now you’ve done it... she's going to find out... Tell everyone... They're going to lock you up and do experiments on you... Then kill you... Kill us... The wolf spoke evilly to me, my eyes began to change into slits, showing signs of being taken over.

“NO! NEVER!” I shouted grabbing my head.

Get out of Alex’s head! Stupid wolf! a strange voice entered my head, it was sweet and slightly magical.

Who are you! The wolf hissed

Someone Alex know and trusts! The voice spoke

NO! Alex’s mate died! She has no children! No pack! Who are you! The wolf began banging against the cage bars.

It's no use! Leave her be! The female voice convinced. I felt the wolf settle

I’ll be back... You can't stop me, not ever.. The wolf answered, slowly going back into its slumber.

Good bye! The voice laughed, its sweet sound filled my head. I sat there in a trance.

Who...? I started, the voice cut me off.

Don't worry about it Honey... Lets just say I’m your angel... She giggled.

“Alex? Alex?” Izzy pulled on my sleeve. I looked down at Izzy.

“Was that you?” I asked studying her.

“What me? You were just standing there looking off into the distance... Are you ok?” She asked.

“Yeah, um i was just remembering a show...” I smiled nervously.

“Oh, well where are you going?” She asked, looking at me with her round brown eyes.

“Im.. Im um going into town...” I smiled at her, Her eyes lit up and she gave me a missing tooth smile.

“Really?!” She jumped up and down. I smiled at her.

“Yeah! I think its time i give it a chance...” I laughed nervously.

Don't be nervous... Take Izzys hand... She will help you... The voice spoke to me. I smiled and grabbed Izzys hand, she looked down and smiled.

“Lets go!” She began skipping in front of me, dragging me behind her.

Thanks... Whoever you are. I smiled.

Your welcome... I’m your angel after all The voice spoke.

“I’m going to call you Angel now...” I whispered so quietly that Izzy couldn't hear me.

Me and Izzy entered town, there were less people then i thought there would be, a lot less. But even though there were very little people i felt as though everyone was staring at me.

“Izzy! Who do you got there?” Some random woman asked us, I jumped back,trying to disappear, almost slipping my hand threw Izzys. The woman looked at me funny, “Are you ok Hun?” She touched my shoulder and i jumped back further.

“I um, um I just... Izzy i can't do this!” I started walking away and she tightened her grip on my hand.

“Sara this is Alex! Shes new... newish.” She smiled.

“Hello Dear... How old are you and where did you move from?” She asked, watching me.

“Why do you want to know?! I didn't do anything?! You don't need to know!” I jumped further back.

Fuck she's on to me! It wasn't me! It was the wolf! I was close to tears now.

Alex calm down, you did nothing wrong... Angel spoke to me, my shoulders relaxed.

“Shes not use to people and she has no family, so she doesn't trust anyone...” Izzy stood up for me, preventing any more conversations.

“Oh, I'm sorry Alex, well have a good day.” She smiled but didn't touch me this time. I watched her walk away.

“Oh Alex! Come with me! It's time you meet Drake!” She smiled and dragged me to an old brick looking house. She shoved thru the door.

“Drake! I want you to meet someone!” She shouted, I heard a bang then a figure ran down the stairs, He walked into the light and i gasped.

“Dylan?”
