Do you remember those sad lonely nights turning into beautiful bizarre lights, sitting at the field together?
I never thought we'd match but I knew you'd be the one to change me forever
Everyday, you were the escape from my reality, you were the bandages to my wounds
It scared me, loving you and changing as we grew.
The time exploded like a bullet from a gun, our relationship blossomed as you made my heart pound,
You made me smile every time I'd frown, it was grand, grand enough to be real
Your scent was my strength and your words were my life
Even if we were apart I knew you'd still love me
We spent seconds, minutes, hours, months and years
I will never let go my dear, you kept on asking
"Why me?"
I kept on reminding you
"Because you filled with me with glee"
You kept on remembering, but kept on forgetting
But hopefully you don't forget me, even if you fade from this world.
